Christopher R Taylor got a reaction from Hyper-Man in John Wick / Keanu Reeves for 6e
Yeah I was thinking more penalty levels for choosing locations, but his OCV is double digits as it is, probably won't miss anyway

Starhand, the thug with an origin I've used before: an alien symbiote that attacked him to take him over, and found his human physiology too alien, becoming trapped and giving the guy powers. Starhand is very unstable and dangerous to be around. I confess I tweaked him slightly because not only did he have 50 Strength with variable advantage (potentially armor piercing damage), he also had find weakness. I've simulated FW with armor piercing and a roll before, but that's just over the top. He also had 1 level of density increase, but doubling weight wasn't enough for me to justify a complication.

Wasn't Iron Man's "armor in a briefcase" similarly touted as completely implausible? They managed to find a way to not only make it work, but to also make it totally cool.
I'm not a follower of Dr. Strange in the comics -- does he always wear the traditional outfit no matter what, or has he used some sort of disguise spell to make it appear as normal clothes? If the cloak and Eye of Agamotto are magic items, he'd need them around. Couldn't some sort of spell (presumably with cool SFX when turning it on/off) allow him to walk around in his traditional outfit, but be seen by most people as in normal clothes?

Absolutely agree. Strange's Cloak of Levitation serves a practical purpose. Even in recent comics, the Cloak lets him fly without expending any of his personal magic power. And Strange has even used it offensively a number of times, to blind or bind opponents.
As for the Eye of Agamotto (that's the amulet he wears -- the Orb of Agamotto is that big crystal ball he views the Multiverse in), IMHO it's one of the coolest, most distinctive identifying gimmicks in comics. It just wouldn't be Dr. Strange without it.

Age of Ultron did explain Vision's cape, in a brief and delightfully subtle way. While he's talking to Thor after he calms down, you see him glance down at Thor's cape; then Vision's own body morphs a matching accouterment. He obviously liked the fashion statement.

If they keep his origin even remotely similar and have him learning magic in the "mystic orient" I see no reason why he wouldn't wear clothes of the culture (or more likely the uniform of the secret order) he is immersed in.
If there is no reason to put him in a "costume" why would they put him in a suit with duster? "Magicians wear dusters/long coats" is a urban-fantasy trope almost as played out as superheroes wearing capes.
I'm not saying I think he'll look exactly like the comics, but if the audiences have accepted Thor in a cape and a giant walking tree and a talking racoon, I really don't see why they wouldn't accept the guy traveling between dimensions fighting a giant with a flaming head wearing a cape.

You're thinking of DC's Captain Boomerang. Marvel's had been that way for most of his career.
EDIT: Beat to the punch.
Kind of sad that they both came up with the same, sad character.

Well, we've seen Marvel take two approaches to the cloak/cape on their heroes. Thor's is all practical. I remember watching a making-of video for the first Thor movie, in which the costume designer (the great Alexandra Byrne) described developing a cape that would look and move like the one in Thor's comics. That seemed to turn out quite well. Then we have Vision's largely CGI cape in Age of Ultron, which can of course move any way they need it too. Personally I found it a little distracting at times, although nowhere near as obnoxious as Spawn's. Superman's cape in Man of Steel, and the trailers for Dawn of Justice, is often CGI, but IMO works most of the time. So I don't expect that element of Dr. Strange to be problematic.
And strictly speaking, Strange's classic outfit is Sixties.

He'll have deep psychological and substance abuse problems himself, of course. And body armor.

I am sure, if DC does a Shazam movie, he will be an orphan, which he is, who was abused by his drugged out parents who OD'd, and the orphanage he is in will be run by the equivalent of Fagan.

It's a bit of a middle finger to DC, too, since they're developing a movie starring the hero they can't publically call Captain Marvel.

I suppose I would be most like Nicholson Joker. I'm not unhinged enough to be Ledger Joker or Leto Joker. Insane, but with a veneer of refined and normal.

I liked that storyline quite a bit, actually. Its just when they turned him into a supervillain evil Spider-Man that it got lame.

One of the big villains in the book, suitable for any campaign's mega villain. His name is apparently "Megaton" which had to be interesting in school. When I ran this scenario, it was a 3 way battle between Megaton, heroes, and a environmentalist villain group where the heroes weren't quite aware who or what Megaton's motivations were, at first.
These days I could see the two villain groups joining forces though - the enviro villains being pro nuke because of low carbon emissions etc. I could see this guy being a hero in some scenarios: shutting down a meltdown inside the reactor, for instance. I did tweak his build slightly: he only had two science skills and yet they bought him the "Scientist" skill enhancer, which was odd, so I got him a third. And his Life Support had no protection from heat extremes, which radiation will generally generate (and IR is a form of radiation) so I gave him that as well.

They need to take Spider-Man in a new direction for this next reboot. Make him darker. Edgier. Grittier. Show him growing up with an abusive Uncle Ben. After he kills Ben and runs away from home, he gets sucked into a synthetic drug ring. That's where he gets his superpowers. And we need to change his powers too. He's too PG. He should have a venomous bite. We're definitely going with the black costume. Probably armor it up, make him look like a cross between a football player and a Navy SEAL. With guns!

Morjok is a mystical supervillain in the book, with zombie servants who were pretty basic agents called Servocorpses. Since the corpses were just created by his magic, I didn't bother with giving him followers, nor did the book. I figure he just uses a summon or a transform spell on corpses. Like the other characters in the supplement, he's very powerful.
Note: Morjok has a magic item that he can use to cast spells with (the END reserve) which has no recovery; he has to cast spells on it to restore its END with a heal spell, presumably at 0 END Cost. I thought that was a very interesting idea and mechanic.

I wish Marvel would get the rights to Namor back too, but mostly because I like the character and I think it would give Marvel the opportunity to show how to do a water-based hero right while DC/WB inevitably faceplants with Aquaman.
I would also like to see the FF back in Marvel's hands. I didn't hate the Fox films as much as most fans did, but I am not holding out much hope for this new one. I think Marvel would know what to do with it (like maybe hand it over to Brad Bird to direct...)
