  1. I've rolled all 6s on 5d6 on luck on multiple occasions and I rolled all 6s once on a 4d6 HKA. Rolled all 5&6s on a 12d6 EB a couple of times. The luck happens most often.
  2. I'm throwing a Lovecraftian style monster at the team soon because ive been reading At the Mountains of Madness (and I'm a sadistic GM) and I was wondering how to do the thing where the monster makes people go insane upon sight. Would youse guys just treat this as a straight up Presence Attack?
  3. Journey to the Center of the Earth now.
  4. Retired-Man is a geriatric normal human. He has the physical limitations of a 70+year old man (who is much older) but with the elevated ego and intelligence that comes with the Windom of many years of life. He's a normal human but I want to give him some abilities that can be attributed to his wisdom and age. Ice got the obvious like You're Not Going to Fool Me: Mental Defense, Limited Telepathy. I Could Have Told You That Would Happen: Danger Sense, Precognition. This Ain't My First Rodeo: Find Weakness, Luck. Anything else?
  5. I know I've asked a lot of questions about making really deadly foes but now I'm thinking about making some lighter, fun villains to make things slightly comical every now and then. I'm working on an alien/extradimensional race out to conquer the
  6. Hey all. In my campaign I am classifying magic in my campaign in different classes. All magic will come from one of these areas. It won't have much of an impact overall but it will require players to specify where their magic is drawn from. Right now I have: Arcane which I am treating as an elemental force (think traditional wizards) Natural which is another elemental force (think druids) Divine which is basically granted by higher beings. Infernal which is granted by not quite so higher beings if you catch my drift. Psionic which is accessed thru meditation and harnessing the subconscious. Another type is one that I don't know quite how to classify yet. Its those who can access magic via methods not belonging to the other five. Like my groups clockwork gadgeteer who can open gates (summoning) with his gadgets. He can manipulate magical forces with his clockwork toys by tinkering with time and mathematics and even sometimes chemistry. The followers of the other four disciplines don't always get along (especially the divine/infernal types) but they all have one thing in common: they all view this guy as an interloper at best and an affront to their craft who needs put in his place at worse. As always input is welcome. Thanks.
  7. Tron 2 was really good... Wait, what??? I really like the tv show Murdoch Mysteries. It's a murder mystery show set in late Victorian/early Edwardian Toronto. Good show.
  8. Ooh. Never thought about that...
  9. Those old Land of the Lost episodes had some great sci-fi writers. David Gerrold and Larry Niven among them.
  10. I m thinking of running an 1890s game combining Land of the Lost with Lost World as a break from our current Soopers game, I know it's a little earlier than either stories are set but who cares
  11. Ancient Radioactive Alien Zombie Reptile Invasion Forces from Atlantis!
  12. That worked out well, thank you.
  13. I have yet another idea for yet another crappy character

    Multiform

He does revert back to Squishy Man when he runs out of END. He's turning out to be really powerful with all those limitations that aren't major limitations I've put on him. It requires an activation/skill roll to power up plus he can only use it in hero ID. He has a huge weakness though. Whenever he runs out of END he reverts back. He only has a 4 Recovery. All his powers are linked to his (high) END reserve. Your imagination can take it from there. I might make him a villain.
  15. Play stone tools and fur underwear till your hearts content.

    Multiform

Actually I have 4e. Sorry, I keep forgetting to mention.

    Multiform

I'm building a character similar to Colossus of the Xmen. He's a very normal guy until he goes into Hero mode in which he "powers up". In his powered up state he has the same personality but is big strong and durable. All his physical characteristics change but not his mental. He can't stay in this form forever though. Would you do this as Multiform even though he keeps his personality or would you link them all together in a multipower and do an activation? He has these powers so far which all turn on at once: Growth 5 points Density Increase 5 points Physical characteristics increase Hardened resisant defense, visible Leaping
