  1. Re: Music to Kill Zombies By 1. Shotgun 2. Sabotage - The Beastie Boys 3. Vin Diesel - cuz as a fellow gamer (once we get past how cool his character is) he'd be able to think creativly enough to help get us out AND tough enough to bring the pain.
  2. Re: Champions Babies Iron Alloy: Having no prior experience with children, IA would promptly panic, pull herself together and do her best to care for her team members and the baby-fied villian. She'd then put in a call to her superiors, Golden Avenger DJ for HELP HELP HELP HELP!!! Oh and she'd tap the Justice, Inc. reserve list for babysitters. *grin* Darkness: Would stand dumbfounded for a full minute before leaping into reluctant action and herding the super babiez using her shadow arms. She won't actually touch them...cuz cute is catching...but she'd care for them as best she could, complaining about it the entire time until they changed back.
  3. Re: I'd rather be me than my character because... I'd rather be me than Iron Alloy because: I have self esteem w/o relying on super powers. I'm not socially akward w/o relying on super powers. I'm not hopefully naive when it comes to morality questions of right and wrong. I'm not acting out to recapture a lost childhood. I'd rather be me than Darkless because: Carrying around an Abyssal symbiot under the skin of your back in uncomfortable. Being on a first name basis with the Prince of Hell is...uncomfortable. Having no sense of hope or the greater good is depressing. Never being able to see the sunlight for fear of it burning you to death is more emo than I care to be on a day to day basis.
  4. Re: Death of the Jester Darkness: Would take some time to watch over Jimmy Shooter to ensure no one tries anything retaliatory against him. She'd also check her...special contacts...to make sure the Jester is indeed in hell and really gone. She has little or no opinion on the right and wrong of Jimmy killing the Jester and doesn't frankly care. It's one less insane ass-clown she has to deal with. Iron Alloy: Would probably sputter and debate with herself and her teammates over what they should or shouldn't do and the rights, wrongs, pros and cons of the entire thing to the point where several people would probably want to choke her, titanium skin or no. She'd eventually follow orders to either investigate or leave it alone or whatever because she's honestly stimied as to where the line between right and wrong falls on this one.
  5. Re: "Neat" Pictures Good point!!! Okay. I feel better. THANKS!!!
  6. Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread. Lovely entry!! I appreciate how you drew her with curves. HA! How did you do on that challenge?
  7. Re: "Neat" Pictures Woah that's creepy! I had a look awhile in order to appreciate the full implications. GO little zombie fighting kids!! SURVIVE!!! *whispers* They'll be alright....won't they?
  8. Re: Order of the Stick Thank you for explaining it!!! I didn't get it either but was too afeared of being called an uneducated geek-noob to ask. *grin* Now that I get it...it's really funny!
  9. Re: Order of the Stick That's a crappy ninja what falls through a window so easily. I'm just sayin'...
  10. Re: PS238 Best Game of 2008!
  11. Re: PS238 Best Game of 2008! That's awesome, Darren!! I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. Is HERO selling it in the on-line store yet?
  12. Re: That is not dead which can eternal lie Basement of a church = crypts. Crypts = the faithful departed and maybe even a few Saints. Dead Saints = THE HOLY UNDEAD!!! Sounds like a good horror campaign or pulp horror setting to me!! Oooo maybe even some Cuthulu mythos thrown in for good measure! A servant of the Deep Ones chained there for centuries and then released by a freak accident of nature! Or is it freak? Maybe the spell keeping the creature imprisoned under the water weakened and therefore caused the drought that brought about it's release! Okay! Gonna quit on this while I'm ahead.
  13. Re: Order of the Stick So much for ecumenicalism in the Church of Banjo.
  14. Re: Order of the Stick EXCELLENT!!! That means...it's working. Mua ha ha haaaa!
  15. Re: Ape Name Needed Mr. Sprinkles Seriously. Maybe it was a name he was given as a baby gorilla by his kind hearted keeper until he was cruelly taken from them and turned into a super cyborg monster of a crime boss. Now he keeps the name in tribute to his young life and all he's lost. Plus how humiliating for some thug to be schooled by someone name Mr. Sprinkles?! Their street cred would be GONE!
  16. Re: Order of the Stick Nobody loves me...like me. *kisses puppet clad fist*
  17. Re: WWYCD: You have 24 hours to release the innocent. Darkness: Would travel to Gittmo and, while working with DHS, set up her own special survelience of the prison in the hopes to apprehend the person before they can spring the imprisoned. To her how they got into prison isn't the issue, the issue is this person springing them is breaking the law NOW and she will stop them. Iron Alloy: Ah my character with a conscience...she's deeply conflicted over this but as Gittmo houses higher profile, international criminals (or supposed criminals in this case) she will do what she can to prevent the break out. Closer to home, however, she will do what she can to influence the judicial process so accused persons get a fair trial and evidence is not withheld. It's difficult, though, as she's only one person and has little or no influence in the legal relms in or out of costume. Luckily she has team members to do so she'd petition them to help.
  18. Re: Order of the Stick Wow...so that's what snorting coffee feels like. Dude, you wn.
  19. Re: Internet themed gadgets Zombie Farm: Small mechanical drones that can spy for you or carry small objects. Black Ice: ranged oil slick generator for use against cars or people These are more hacking terms than internet slang but I thought they'd apply.
  20. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game Well hell! I know what I'm doing this weekend now!
  21. Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread Well done medieval choral music makes me run in happy circles of *Squeeee!*
  22. Re: Order of the Stick I don't dispute that words are good. I like words too. Sometimes, though, I think the OotS punch lines get lost in them. Luckily that doesn't happen to me often and I get over it quickly.
  23. Re: Order of the Stick The orc shaman is right, though. Sometimes this comic gets a bit wordy. FUNNY! But wordy.
  24. Re: Superpet concept on the drawingboard: "Fluffy" I automatically got a picture in my mind of Stitch from "Lilo and Stitch". Sort of a teddybear looking cuddly thing with a cute but limited intelligence and personality. The transformation would take the cute scale to the opposite end of the ugly spectrum where he's a grotesque mish mash of fur and scales, slime and fangs. Oddly enough this creature retains it's relatively cute personality when in this form and when it's not being rabidly protective of the team.
  25. Re: F-Bombs Away! Iron Alloy would blink very quickly in shock, try to do her best to cover for whomever it was and then try to get to the bottom of why they did that later on. Darkness...would do nothing overt but have Imp monitor them for other odd behavior for the next few weeks.
