  1. Re: Don't touch the cat Our group should try this! When we game over at our place my cat, Toby, likes to sit himself right on the game books/maps, though rarely is it such a huge interruption to scene or game flow that we have to make up something to 'explain' why this giant fur covered blob has appeared out of nowhere. See attached, my lovely kitteh laying on the Attach of the Giants module during our 'tribute to Gygax' weekend.
  2. Re: [smashup] PS238 + Eureka !!! You could have the normal cop from Eureka take a second or summer job at PS238. Or have some of the PS238 kids come to Eureka on an exchange program of sorts for the Spring semester.
  3. Re: The Last Word Either it's the meds or he's suddenly become obsessed with words that start with "B".
  4. Re: A Game Of Questions Were you just listening to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds or something?
  5. Re: Non Cliche Supernatural Professions I've always wanted to try a barrista in a coffe shop. I can only imagine what they see coming and going every day and it would be a good cover for a monster/creature in hiding, imho.
  6. Re: Stalking a superhero. SEE! This is what I get for not reading all of 52. *hangs head in shame*
  7. Re: The Guitar Hero You could use the Tom Morello guitar battle song (of which name I can't find right now) to force a confusion effect sort of like a psi attack on the hearing group.
  8. Re: Stalking a superhero. Didn't Lois Lane do that ALL the time to Superman back in the Golden Age hey-days of yore?
  9. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine
  10. Re: Order of the Stick "Come here by snuggly green cutie-pie." Is it wrong that I've never given that much thought to a stable half-orc home life? I mean they all can't be products of pillaging and violence. Won't you join me as I take a look at the trend that is sweeping the known world. 'I'm in love with an orc...' next time on Oprah.
  11. Re: What comic book villains would make cool heroes, and vice versa? I think it would be an interesting alternate reality to have Jamie (the current Blue Beetle of the DCU) to have gotten the scrab with all it's proper programming instead of it being mostly benign and able to be held back by Jamie's will and moral code. Maybe it would be a clash of the two alternate Blue Beetle's as universes collide or something similarly 'Crisis worthy'. In other news I think a nice Lex Luthor, philanthropist and all around good guy, would be seriously scary.
  12. Re: Order of the Stick "Little" is an understatement. I'm actually impressed by how the plot is developing and how Parson is establishing himself as a seperate entity from the other world players. Plus at the beginning of the comic he either worked for the bad guy or he could be disbanded/killed. I took it as he was just trying to make the best out of a bad situation, or a situation he didn't altogether believe was even real.
  13. Re: Savate: Sport and Martial Art Don't forget the flying fist of upward hurt!!
  14. Re: Nicholas Angel Can you guys tell we have a lot of mini's in our house?
  15. Re: Ask Cryptic 5/2/2008 I can see your point there. I'd put forth, though, that the players who are on City of Heroes might be a bit more receptive to using the more 'hero' genre of terminology as regards to an MMORPG. I'm surprised more of them aren't on the Champions Online boards.
  16. Re: Radio Horror Awesome! Now I know what I'm doing at work today. Listening to these. THANKS!
  17. Re: Power down day Iron Alloy would be scared out of her mind. Her powers give her confidence where her book learning and academic achievements never did. She went from a bookish research archeologist to a powerhouse hotty over night. Losing her powers, she fear she'll lose her sense of new found self too. She'll immediately run for Egypt and try to contact the source of her power in order to determine if this is actually going to happen to her. I mean her powers were given to her by the Sun God Ra...so surely SHE will be spared....right? Right? Um...right? Guys? Darkness will be...relieved. She'll do nothing. Nothing at all. Her powers are a burden. They make her different and keep her from enjoying the light. If she is to loose them then she'll be better for it, at least in her opinion. Gina D. is pissed. She has her Viper training but the powers from her ring is what makes her valuable to Ameriforce One and Justice Inc. What the hell is she going to do when...if...they go away. She works with anyone she can to figure out if this will happen and how to stop it.
  18. Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat All those experiments are hell on the utility bill. Turn the dramatic electricty archs off!! NT: Oh dear...there's an angry mob outside the house...
  19. Re: Order of the Stick Banjo likes his women with experience... CLASSIC! Is anyone around here reading the other comic on that site? The Battle for Gobwin Knob? It's pretty interesting.
  20. Re: The Worst character in comics Yeah that is pretty weak.
  21. Re: Defending the Earth: Giant Asteroid Justice, Inc.: Between the Sorceress Supreme, our own Green Lantern clone and an Iron Man clone we go out and erase it from time and space.
  22. Re: COMMO Wallpapers I completely missed the winky-smily...and thought this was serious. That is until I saw the Jason pic. The first two I thought were rather convincing... *grin*
  23. Re: Your character's pet peeve(s) Iron Alloy: Anal about her archeology tools. Pet peeve is when overzealous interns and/or assistants mess with her stuff and try to 'reorganize' it in an effort to shine her apple. Gina D.: When people won't listen to her about her Viper knowledge. Oh and asking her to toast marshmallows on a whim. She's not a portable propane tank!
