Whatever BYU is going to do in 2018, they will do it without Ty Detmer as their offensive coordinator. He was relieved of his duties by the school earlier today. He remains under contract and is still on the staff, and may remain in his secondary position as quarterbacks coach, depending on what the new offensive coordinator decides. Somehow, I get the feeling that this is only the beginning of the changes at BYU.
