Here's how I generally read RT scores:
 
Low Critics rating / High Audience score: Probably a fun popcorn flick.
High Critics rating / Low Audience score: Probably artsy or pretentious, might watch if the trailers grab me
Scores are about Even: Probably the fairest assessment. Anything that gets at least 70% on both might be worth watching if I liked the trailer.

Based on personal experience, I must take qualified exception to that last statement. Growing up in a home with one good parent is a distinct improvement over a home where a good parent must of necessity cohabit with a bad one.

I prefer Sif and Valkyrie, simultaneously.

Well, turns out Drogon did get the Iron Throne, so to speak. I claim partial credit.

We've mostly watched it for free. We usually wait for an extended service outage, then call and threaten to cancel our cable. Then we get free HBO as a consolation gift. Worked every year except this year. The service has actually been good lately, so we ponied up the extra 15 bucks this time.

Hugo Weaving's performance in V for Vendetta was a masterclass in acting without the use of one's face. However, props must also be given to the vfx team who went to extraordinary lengths to add subtle hints of facial expressions to the mask by ingenious use of CG shadows. It was so effective that nobody realized the work they did, only that V was incredibly "expressive" despite wearing a mask at all times.

Jon's both. He's the song, really. Lyanna Stark was the Ice, and Rhaegar Targaryeon was the Fire.

Probably the massive penalty for grappling with her hands tied led her to decide to die with dignity instead.

HBO wanted this season to be ten eps, not six.  Showrunners literally didn't want to do it any more.   They're clearly phoning it in at this point.

Kinda like how Elizabeth Olsen ignored the issue of her character's accent...

The wife mentioned that one thing she liked about new Thor is that he finally looks like a Viking God and not a cover model.

Odd. Does this mean Greyworm isn’t a significant character of color? I’d say they may have forgotten he’s still alive, except that he was right outside the wall watching the whole thing. 

Those accusations pre-date his Presidency by many decades. Here's a Vox article on the subject. (Note: Vox leans Left, but the point here is that this isn't a new thing.)

Have you seen Dances With Wolves?  It’s basically the same movie.

Joe Fixit would be fun on screen.

Demonbear needs too much setup to be the first movie,  IMO. But maybe they'll pull it off.
