No one won last night. Up to $1.9B now.
(annoyed that getting 2 numbers doesn't pay out -- need that PB at the end for that to matter)
Same. It wasn't 45 and 56, was it?

Anyone here ever play Theatrix? Again, a more improv-based style of play...
Yes, very cool system. I wouldn't be surprised if it had a strong influence on FATE.

I paid my wishful thinking tax. Maybe I'll win $4 again.

It's legal to have a Power in a Multipower draw from an END Reserve. However, END Reserve is a Special Power and may not me place in the Multipower without GM permission.

With that, I would suppose the official answer would lean toward 'pristine,' but at the same time, I swear I can absolutely taste having read ' even with the no hole option, passer'a by will ge able to tell the earth has been disturbed; the earth is not pristine."
RAW in 6e says that it's obvious that Tunneling has been used, and that Invisible Power Effects are required to hide that.

Not to minimize what Max Verstappen accomplished, but why were they racing in what looked like a typhoon? Why wasn't it postponed until Monday when the weather would be better? It is really fortunate nobody got themselves killed in those conditions.
Any other competition would not even have let the race begin under those conditions. Are, they waiting for someone to get killed?Part of it is tradition, and part of it is that F1 cars are supposed to be able to handle a wet track (FSVO, "wet.") You see something similar in endurance racing, where the cars are expected to be able to run in the damp/wet/dark. Even more so with rally racing, where I've seen them run stages in snowy conditions that would keep me from driving to work.

is there a resource online where I could read pulps?
The Internet Archive has a pulp magazine section, but you may need to download them.

Wouldn't Microwaves beamed from space, heat up water molecules in the atmosphere, and make the temperature situation worse?
17 hours ago, L. Marcus said:That depends on the frequencies of the microwaves, I imagine.
It does. Above a certain wavelength, the atmosphere is effectively transparent.

Does this need to be a power? If the effect is the same as him speaking, I don't see a need to model it.

(you can take only one "zero phase" action per turn, but it takes no real time).
Not per RAW. You can perform multiple Zero-Phase Actions on your Phase. (6e2 18)

Max Verstappen wins the Italian Grand Prix
Good job for Nick De Vries for finishing eighth in his first F1 appearance.

Yeah, this happens. Sometimes the location isn't appropriate. One proposed development in Berlin CT would have put a high-density development into a borderline-rural area. OTOH, there's an apartment complex being built on the site of a former motel on the Berlin Turnpike, which is much more suitable.

I'm working on my own version of Champions Lite based on 6e. So far, I've pared down the skill list, removed Adjustment and Mental Powers (as well as Change Environment and Transform), and only used the simpler power modifiers. I kept the Speed Chart and Killing Attacks because (IMHO) they are integral to the system.

If (as Bob Dylan once sang) the sun was not yellow, but chicken, what would Superman's powers for being under a chicken sun be?
