  1. I'll start working on a character now. What archetypes do you already have?
  2. Ok thanks, I was asking in part in order to find out if my HeroDesigner would work. It does 5e, so that's a yes.
  3. Are you using edition 3, 4, or 5, or a hodge podge of all three?
  4. Are you still looking for players for Champions 6e? If so, I'd be interested.
  5. Thank you all for the advice thus far. It seems like this character will be expensive to create, as Christopher said, but hopefully worth it in the end. Hopefully it carries through the feel of putting up portals to mess with attacks and other such things. I'm also planning on more simple things like a physical blast that requires a heavy object to be around, and a flash that requires dust or other particulates to be around.
  6. I'm wanting to create a character based around the ability to open up entrance and exit portals, allowing for teleportation by stepping through them. I'm having trouble coming up with a way to build a power to allow him to open and entrance portal in front of someone and then opening an exit portal in a completely different direction. An example of this in use would be opening a portal in front of speedster that is aiming for a move through and redirecting them into a wall. I'd also like to be able to do this reactively as a defense if possible as well. Say he's the target of the move through, he aborts a phase, and does his redirection trick. Another trick I'd like to do is redirecting punches, energy blasts, and the like. The energy blasts are fairly simple as a SFXed Missile Reflection. How would you do similar with punches?
  7. It could possibly be a -1/4 or so limitation also, similar to an Astral Form build on the Desolid because he may not be able to always get back to the suit when he wants to.
  8. Re: New Kickstarter for Sentinels of the Multiverse expansion My group is still getting used to all the ins and outs of Sentinels but we have thoroughly enjoyed the game so far. We did learn the hard way though that Sewer Rat's HP doesn't renew itself each time it flips.
  9. Re: Herocentral There's also rpol.net .
  10. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? A movie that I like a lot, because it's both a zombie movie and, in my opinion, a feel good movie exploring what it actually means to be a person. Aaaaah!! Zombies. In fact, were I to find myself in that universe by some cosmic fluke, I'd gladly become one of the zombies. Watch the movie and I bet you'll understand why.
  11. Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore Agreed, unless I can dip it, I'm not much for the end piece of the crust either.
  12. Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore We have to come up with a technology to allow us to reach into the internet and pull out the real food for what's pictured! That hamburger looks like something I'd love to sink my teeth into.
  13. Re: Balrog in a superhero world Never knew any of that. Interesting, kind of like that one nation that refused to show the movie Captain America under its real name.
  14. Re: Balrog in a superhero world The SF Balrog was the first one to pop into my mind.
  15. Re: Order of the Stick It's possible, though unlikely, that the massacre is an illusion. We are dealing with illusionists after all, and how better to get people to trust their eyes than to make it look like they've got no illusions to fear?
  16. Re: Marvel Super Friends I'd like to bring back up the Falcon as a conceivable Robin. Wasn't he first introduced in the comics as basically a new sidekick for Captain America?
  17. Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore Man that lasagna looks good!
  18. Re: A Thread for Random Videos I didn't see him either. I wish they'd go with standard Hawkeye though, that's about the only place I actually like the color purple. Standard was also sarcastic enough I'd think he'd entertain the movie goers that don't give a flip about comics.
  19. Re: From Superfriends to Watchmen: The Extremes of Superheroes My preference in a game that would cause me to come running is Gold/Silver. I'm willing to play Bronze as most supers games end up in that vein, but Iron I stay far far away from. In other words, Gray and I, especially in supers, get along about as well as fire and water when it comes to my enjoyment of a game.
  20. Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore That does look very good! Though my current favorite is a large (larger than any other large in the area) pizza at a local place with 5 different meats on it.
  21. Re: All ghosts evil? Well, in going with the conversation, I'm a Christian and I don't think all ghosts are evil. I know for a fact that my Grandmother's house was watched over every night by my Grandfather's ghost. I've never felt so safe anywhere else, and this was in a very crime ridden area. There was just a tangible feeling of my Grandfather watching over us, plus the footsteps every night from the front door into the hall between the bedrooms.
  22. Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore Just have to say, while these things are way overboard in calories, personally I'd rather have a lot of them than a single helping of salad. I tend to eat what I like and let someone else worry about the reprecussions. I figure, I'm only here once, life's short enough, why spend it eating something I don't like? Also, that Mac & Cheese dog does look like something I'd enjoy trying.
  23. Re: Does the CU have a Franklin Richards? It was in the newer episodes of the Twilight Zone. He couldn't read her like he can everyone else. He can only put things in the corn field, she can bring them back out too. In every way, she makes her Dad more comparable to the rest of us. And it corrupts her just like it did him.
  24. Re: Does the CU have a Franklin Richards? The sequel to that Twilight Zone episode is much scarier with what his daughter is capable of... putting in the corn field and pulling back out.
