Hey, World's Largest Dungeon is the single longest RPG book by page count, at 840 pages.  With a little work, Mythic Hero could take the crown.

I don't remember much of the 80's save the really bad fashion.

Of course, those were my developmental years... (born December of 83, baby!)

And I will be 30 in less than a month and a half

I have no doubt that, after having danced the Masochism Tango, that Jrska's next move will be to
poison pigeons in the nearest Imperial Park, whilst planning the orbital bombardment of some
    poor unsuspecting city-eating cockroach...

We rewrote the program to allow for three crops (actually, it can take as many crops as the admin sets up). Three weeks, almost full time on the project. However, since we could prove that the whole thing had been defined as 2 from the get go, the client paid for the modifications. The next phase is making the summary pages display more than 2 crops. He will also be paying for that.

Three young men graduated from the seminary and were ordained Father Brown, Father Ryan, and Father Secola. They began a life of service.

After ten years, they were known as Monsignor Brown, Monsignor Ryan, but still Father Secola. Father Secola was disappointed, but he held his peace.

After another ten years, they were known as Bishop Brown, Bishop Ryan, but still Father Secola. Father Secola was even more disappointed, but he still said nothing.

After yet another ten years, they were known as Cardinal Brown, Cardinal Ryan, but still Father Secola. Father Secola was now too upset to stay quiet, and he complained to his Archbishop.

"I entered the seminary and was ordained at the same time as those two," complained Father Secola. "I've done just as good a job as they did, and yet I haven't advanced as they have. Why is that?"

"Please understand," answered the Archbishop. "The next step is the Vatican, and you know that anything can happen there. And the world just isn't ready for a Pope Secola."

Westworld--Michael Crichton wrote and directed this story where the amusement park of the future breaks down and the robots start killing guests. There was a weaker sequel, Futureworld, which wasn't written by him, and then a TV series, Beyond Westworld, which was (but only had 3 episodes air). There have been plans on remaking Westworld, first as a movie project (possibly with Arnold Schwarzenegger), then as an HBO pilot by J. J. Abrams, Jonathan Nolan and Jerry Weintraub.

Americat is better known to most superhero fans as Fatso, the pet of Melting Pot of the Capitol Patrol.  An orange tabby, he was normal until the day a villain tampered with Melting Pot's powers, causing her to fuse Fatso and Captain Justice into one being temporarily.  Captain Justice seems to have come out of it with no lasting effects, but Fatso was changed forever.  He is now as strong as a lion, and can run as fast as a cheetah.  He also has a red, white and blue tuft of hair on each ear.  Americat has a square-jawed hero kind of personality, which comes off really weird in a cat, and is more or less the leader of the team.

Oh, and somehow he's no longer fixed, but no one tell his mistress, okay?

A few months ago, I watched a new opera, The Gospel of Mary Magdalene. Before heading off to the opera house, I dined at a restaurant named Absinthe. I did have a glass of that liquor with dinner.

Maybe it was the drink or the heat of the opera house, but I had the strangest hallucinations during the first act. Notably, my peripheral vision kept interpreting the arch at the far wall as a large shadow person standing beside me.

I hate to think what my hallucinations would have been if I had been watching Mephistopheles.

As a chemist Peter Payne decided to examine old alchemical texts as he figured that was where chemistry got it's start. As he expected most of them were full of pusedomystical nonsence that were more harmful that helpful. However he found some that actually seemed to make sence. He tested them out and replaced the formulas with more modern ingredients. He managed to make liquids that could give him enhanced strength, create a large mass of goo, wither people, create a gust of wind capable of moving him, and cause inanimate objects to melt.

Calling himself Potion he ran rampant for a few months. Then he discovered something. While none of the potions lasted very long the illness breathing the fumes from making them caused was very permanent. Deciding not to let an ill timed coughing fit to land him in prison he retired from active villainy and joined the Collegium. While for the most part he's content to showing others to commit better crimes through chemistry, the urge for one last big caper is always there.

Dr Who: The Green Death. Katy Manning's last story as Jo Grant and the show has a melancholy air as the Doctor realises early on that she is leaving him. This also has a psychotic computer called BOSS as well as the infamous giant maggots. I liked it but then this was the Doctor and his assistant that I remember most fondly.

Also with the main commentary track, bonus commentary track, the recollations of the filming of the show and the spoof scandal bit with Mr Gatkiss.
