Pariah
This is why science teachers teach conservation laws. TANSTAAFL and all that. And unlike Congress, NFL teams can't just print as much money as they happen to think they might need.

Only part of the story. It's the consequence even more of 4 straight trips to the AFC championship game, along with of course a SB loss and win as part of it. That means EVERYONE wants to get paid. Hill just passed both Adams for average salary, and may have been smart in going for 4 years. He'll be 32 when this contract expires; he may well get another $$$$$ contract for, say, 3, maybe 4 years. Chiefs are about to get hammered the same way the Seahawks did a few years ago. Starlord
Brilliant trade for the Chiefs. Man, they got a lot for a WR. I think they will try to replace Hill with the 1st round pick they are getting. Several possible future pro bowl WRs in this draft.

Pariah
Denver has had plenty of quarterbacks that didn't suck. They've just never drafted one. pinecone

archer
The NFL enacted diversity measures Monday, including a requirement that each team have a minority assistant coach in a significant role on its offensive staff. The new minority offensive assistant requirement comes as part of an initiative that will be partially funded by the league. The coach must have at least three years of college or pro coaching experience and must work closely with the head coach and offensive coordinator. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/nfl-will-require-every-team-to-have-minority-coach-in-key-offensive-role/ar-AAVAgIN

Marcus Spears' point: it won't make any real difference as long as the owners are locked into not doing it. It's going to be more lip service and nothing more. History shows he's very likely correct. Pariah
Tom Brady's unretirement was apparently a deciding factor in the decision. unclevlad
Still alleged, we have to remember, but none of us are all that surprised, are we? Plus more investigations into workplace misconduct. I'd say it's still unlikely, but the specter of a forced sale is taking shape. In other news today, 2 more coaches have joined the Flores case, along with more of what looks to be very strong evidence. It may not hold up, sure, but taken prima facie only, it's pretty damning. Report: New favorite emerges to purchase Denver Broncos at record-setting price Technically? It's *one of* the Walton heirs, and in fact, the story's get some details wrong. It's not Robert, it's Robson. Sam, the founder, had 3 kids...there's Alice and JIm. Who are each worth *more* than their older sibling. Yeah...the trio is worth about $200B combined. Downside? Walton is 77. Setting aside the political angles...that's relatively old. How long will it be before the franchise is right back in this position? Flip side: if the offer is $4B, that in itself highlights the major bar to entry for finding minority owners.
