Cancer
So where does the money go?
Spence
Some of the proceeds from Uwingu's projects go toward expenses, but the other proceeds will go in the form of grants to Mars One as well as other science education groups such as the SETI Institute, Astronomers Without Borders, the International Dark-Sky Association and the Galileo Teacher Training Program. I'm guessing they are reaching for something important to report. BlueCloud2k2
Cancer
The observational cosmology folks seem to have detected gravitational waves at very early times in the Universe, which has been a Holy Grail in that racket for a long time. I am not a relativist, so once I have survived the coming 10 days (finals week and course grade frenzy) I will go looking for someone to explain all that to me. EDIT: This made APOD the next day. tkdguy
I did some digging around, and the star system is about 1200 light years away from us. It's possible that Kepler-62e and Kepler-62f can both sustain life, although probably different from ours. http://www.space.com/24142-kepler-62f.html
