Ternaugh
Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? "I Robot" by the Alan Parsons Project. For those interested, APP is remastering and expanding their 10 albums for release next year. Eric Woolfson has provided the original session tapes and master tapes, and Alan Parsons is doing what he does best: engineering. This track (and about 47 others, including some new material) are part of "The Dutch Project", a 3-disc set of fan favorites that have already been remastered. While the original releases were by no means of poor quality, these remasters are, so far, extremely well-done. I'm hearing extra detail from the instruments, which seem to have been there originally, but are now much clearer. In some cases, stereo separation seems to be a bit better, as well. And while the recordings are louder, they do not seem to exhibit the clipping that seems rampant in so much new music. All in all, I'm looking forward to the releases next spring. http://www.the-alan-parsons-project.com/ for more info. JoeG

Enforcer84
Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Someday is now - Scorpions I listened to this song three consecutive times while reading the lyrics trying to learn it last night. Right before going to be. I was so amped I couldn't sleep. I've been humming it all day. I really like it.

Blue
Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? How's their new album?Well' date=' [i']Dude, I Totally Miss You[/i] is my favorite song from it, but there's some really tasty stuff early on. I don't find the stuff later in the album as interesting (where they do the Meatloaf-like time and tempo changes), but it's hard not to love Kickapoo with JB, Meatloaf, and Dio on vocals. And Dave Grohl continues to be the coolest human being on the planet Not a perfect Tenacious-D (I think the first one was more like them) but it's got some solid rock-and-roll-legs.
