death tribble
I heard the show that this was on. And without any rehearsal he just up and does it. Impressive. Earlier in the week we also had Scarlet Johannson covering the Chainsmokers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrVo74XpFHc

Michael Hopcroft
Jackman's got musical cred, yo. He's got the Tony awards to back him up. Hugh Jackman on Broadway playing Australian-born performer/songwriter Peter Allen in The Boy from Oz, the role that won him his Tony. Allen was known for his wild excesses -- he was married to Liza Minnelli for a time, having been a protege of her mother Judy Garland, and was a notorious sexual omnivore. Still, he had a great deal of success as a singer and pop songwriter (penning, among others, the Olivia Newton-John hit "I Honestly Love You"). The show literally relied on Hugh Jackman and his charisma. His interaction with the audience was acclaimed (you can see some of it early in this clip during the costume change). The show tried to go on after he left but only lasted a few weeks. Jackman also won acclaim for his role as the cowhand protagonist in a revival of Oklahoma! and played Jean Valjean in the recent movie adaptation of Les Miserables. Michael Hopcroft
When I was pointed to this on a BRP board (BRP is the system used for Runequest, which has a thing for ducks in fantasy) I assumed it was a theatrical short for release with The Hobbit -- until I realized it was a year early. Turns out if was made to accompany WB's sitcom-style Looney Tunes Show, which features Bugs and Daffy as housemates in suburban LA (well, actually Bugs is a successful entrepreneur and Daffy is an incompetent freeloader who, like so many sitcom freeloaders, justifies it by saying his next scheme will make him rich). tkdguy
