Egyptoid
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States had a recent submission.... ARIZONA SILVER AGE - ROAD-RUNNER http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dzqpmkt_777ft9p9jgf but I'm not going back in time to do a re-vote at this late stage. so she's enshrined in the Golden Age Archive: http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dzqpmkt_2g58r2gcq&pageview=1&hgd=1&hl=en it's in GURPS, and its a good concept and origin. however there are already a LOT of speedsters on the USA-5O team, IMHO. tell me whatcha think... Split Decision
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States Someone named "roadrunner" defnitely deserves a second look. But... Arizona already has an awesome hero. She may lose out in the numbers crunch. Say, who is the hero for New Mexico? Maybe get her moved over. Pariah
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States Say' date=' who is the hero for New Mexico? Maybe get her moved over.[/quote'] New Mexico's heroine is named Estrella. She kind of a mystic, as best I can understand/interpret.
freakboy6117
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States yeah when i designed her i imagined her more as a green lantern type. some one suggested incorporating the native religion of New Mexico and thats where a lot of the mystical side to her write up bu Egyptoid seems to have comes from. i really have to start posting on this thread again I've been way to caught up with other stuff of late. not that i been able to finish any of that stuff. too many ideas to little free time of course when i'm a gentleman of leisure i haven't got a thing on my mind lol. Lantern type? cool; yet I didnt catch that in the description. of course there's a dozen different ways in Hero to simulate a Lantern type VPP. please feel free to submit edits or re-writes. I'm always open to suggestions. nothings written in stone until it goes to the PDF...

BobGreenwade
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States first Photos are up: BLOGGER painter is Bulvai:Dgmail.com if you want to send him kudos You may need to edit Rushmoe's name. Unless, of course, he has brothers named Rushlarry and Rushcurly.

BobGreenwade
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States BTW I'm working through some ideas for a team of superpowered ecoterrorists that Eco-Ranger could call in help to deal with (probably with ties to the Environmentalist Lunatic Fringe). Hopefully it won't take as long to work these guys up as it did Eco-Ranger himself. I'll post them here when they're ready.

Kristopher
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States Its kind of funny as Wolverines are not - and probably never were - indigenous to Michigan. They were, at one point, but the first sighting in about 200 years took place here in early 2004.

I'll gladly change... I'm working on the Russkies. A couple of (relatively) minor things: 1) Stone Devil is the leader and instigator. SerpenTina is more of a sneak operative and assassin. 2) They have a record of doing more harm than good in their operations, such as when Firebomb "rescued" animals from experimenters by setting the lab on fire (with the animals still inside), or when they demolished a faulty chemical-processing plant (spilling all of its toxic chemicals instead of just a small percentage). This is the reason Eco-Ranger I refers to them as the "Environmentalist Lunatic Fringe." 3) Given Eco-Ranger's nickname for them, I'd give them something with the same initials. Maybe Eco-Liberty Federation. I'll try to post and/or send character sheets without too much delay... which, I think, means by the end of the year (given how long it took to get Eco-Ranger's sheet up). Haven Walkur
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States I may be a little prejudiced, but I think the Bagnell Catfish figure looks absolutely unbelievable! He's one elegant monster/hero, and the detail work on his skin is astonishing -- as it is on the costumes of all the other figures. This artist has amazing talent...and kudos to whoever managed to place the image of Mt. Rushmore on the eponymous hero's chest. Stunning. Pariah
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States ...and kudos to whoever managed to place the image of Mt. Rushmore on the eponymous hero's chest. Stunning. Thank you, Madame President. That would be me. I did it in MS Paint. It was a real pain in the neck. But SO worth it. (Obviously, this only refers to the digital version. Whoever painted the real figure is much, much more talented than I am.)
Egyptoid
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States I've started making the villain updates. each state section will have 5-8 villains at the end of the heroes. the latest moron is KLENDOHEPT, an ancient spirit who is haunting the Lake Michigan era. Egyptoid
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States okay actually I'm going to call it done on all villains for now. but thanks to all so far. I reserve the right to change my mind later and call for backup. Anyways I have reserved the last few villain slot for: DUN DUN DUH! Villains mentioned in the various hunteds and other disads of the USA 5O heroes. It's so rare I have a coherent thought (ahead of time) that I had to celebrate.
