Egyptoid
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States Now comes the hard part, the no-fun part, the scut-work. I wish I had a probie, I'd make him do it. The Third Edit Phase, the thankless grunt-on-minimum-wage labor. this is where I link together all the villains and hunteds; check all characters for rule of X; check spellings and other consistencies; Check the Hero System specifics for each build; ensure each background bit is a complete sentence, make the short ones longer, and make the over-running ones shorter. This is the polish and finalize phase. Like Sausage, it won't be pretty while making, but later...mmm good.

Cinniuint
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States My favorite NPC hero from my homestate of Washington was a Wind EC character by the name of Chinook. (Pacific Northwest Indian word for a warm wind after summer has ended. I think. Also called an Indian summer.) The character would fly in at the last minute, create a huge mess by clumsy power use, then hog the media spotlight. I think he didn't show up more than twice, and I still remember him vividly about 20 years later.
Egyptoid
Re: Heroes from All Fifty States still dealing with a publisher. making minor tweaks to the layout. planning the first volume will be West Coast. ========================= Fixed It! the rivalry is now well established: Green-Tech is the eco-terrorist supervillainess from the west coast. and therefore GreenTech is the hero from Vermont. people get killed for leaving out that dash, let me tell ya! =============================== and BTW Cincinnuit: there's room for a whole thread devoted to Native American heroes; like "What would the USA-5O look like if the english had not conquered America?" Egyptoid
Re: Border Liaisons I've taken some liberties, cause I need more foes for the USA-5O. I'm not saying these ladies are evil, I'm saying that sometimes there's "policy discussions" at the northern and southern borders... SONORA-X, the lovely mutant from Mexico and on the US northern border.... she's PRAIRIE FIRE , the Canadian liaison
