The T Party looks very strong in HtH combat but not so much ranged and no mental.

 

Trilight has a full suite of light powers (including the ability to render herself invisible and generate holograms).  She recently discovered the ability to use flashing lights and colorful patterns to enthrall (Mental Paralysis) and hypnotize (low-grade Mind Control) opponents.  She's gotten very good at calming Tantrum after a fight.

 

Oh, and don't call her Twilight or otherwise mention the books or movies of that series.  She will try to blind you for life (on the assumption that doing so will save you from "that horrid, festering cesspool of crap").

Triggerhappy

 

If the police or other people see you with a gun or believe from your look or general demeanour that you are carrying a gun they can act accordingly. This does not help when someone can actually summon a weapon and then use it. And that is why Triggerhappy is so dangerous. He can get through any security and then summon into existance a gun. He usually does it just to create mayhem after all, nothing sends people running for cover like a madman with a gun, except maybe a werewolf that appears in broad daylight. And when he gets a gun he tends to act crazed. 'I got a gun ! I got a gun ! Gonna have to kill some one !' which understandably panics people. Except stoners and those idiots who like Natural Born Killers.

Where he gets the guns from, he does not say. But he has threatened the police previously with bringing in a full sized artillery piece. The largest gun he has brought in is Maxine which he should not be able to wield let alone hold. It autofires, has shotgun and grenade launching abilities, a bayonet and plays 'Welcome to the Jungle' by Guns N Roses.

He gets in well with Therewolf and at a pinch can help Tantrum and Tougher. He knows to say clear of Turbine. However he tens to refer to Therewolf as Team something such as Team Horrific Ripping Death which bearing in mind is related to Team Jacob and Twilight gets right up Trilight's nose. If she then looks like she might react Therewolf casually stands in the way.

But we have not done a family of villains. White Sheep's cousins don't count as they are not directly related to each other. And it is a supervillain trope at least in the mystic Champions Universe. So as a homage to Hermit's vision we will now do a family of villains. But with rules !

If we do upto 5 members then they all get on and are very effective. If we do over 8 members then you can introduce conflict, that does mean 9 and up. Maximum 20. Bare Minimum 4

If we do Mum and Dad then they will always get on.

Grandparents and older can only get introduced from No 6 upwards.

Uncles and Aunts to begin with must be on one side of the family, From post 6 they can be on either side.

No adopted members until No 15.

Cannot be just pure mystics or have one one superpower like all bricks, all energy projectors or all martial artists.

The family can be named by the first person who posts.

The Fountains come from a long line of criminals. The father of the family of no-do-wells is Gregory Fountain, better known by his crime name Crush. As his name sergest, he is a brick. An extremely smart one with years of experience in causing mayhem and crime. He sets the moral code for the family...no murders, be kind and courtous to others while doing crime. Only target insatutions (banks, labs, ect), never individuals. No kidnapping. No deathtraps.

OT:  Just read an old post of mine in that thread, from back when I was all creative and stuff.   Gonna have to get back into that sometime, but don't have the time right now to put something like that together.

 

Dan Fountain has always been a tinkerer and tech-head.  Even as a kid, he would disassemble and reassemble household appliances and other devices just to see what makes them tick.  So it's no surprise that Danny supplies the family's weapons and gear. If it's necessary for him to go into the field, he wears a special armored battlesuit, akin to Iron Man.  Calling himself Master Armorer, he is starting to enjoy his time out of the lab and is starting to spend more time upgrading his armor instead of working on new blasters and what-not.

Melissa is Dan's sister and/or Gregory's daughter.  Known as The Tabby she is one of the world's premier cat burglars.  Not particularly superpowered, except posessing the abilities of a cat (acute senses, leaping abilities of a cat, etc) for some reason.  Gadgets supplied  by Master Armorer.  Petite, and unpowered she prefers avoiding the family fights (though a couple of gadgets might be specific for such emergencies).  Her burglary skills can be used to break-in and gather necessary information.

The mother of Dan and Malisa is Gloria Fountain, better known by her crime name Tendril. A former scientist of ARGENT, she developed a special shampoo which alowes animation of hair for 8 hours. The thing is, unlike most hair animators, she doesn't have really long hair (it only hangs to just above her waist). She suplimented her limited powers with martial arts training. They first meet when they first became members of the supervillian team Traction, and both left the group when the leader, Dread atemped to kill Gloria in order to serve as an example to the others about the fate of thoes who question his orders (it is suficed to say, everyone left after that, and Dread ended up in a special area of Stronghold for the superpowerly insane).

Geyser

 

This villain is well known fo sending up large cascades of water from underneath the earth. He has been arrested, tried, convicted and imprisoned a number of times but Tobias Mount always manages to get out somehow. Tobias is not his real name as he is Gregory's brother but changed his name and had plastic surgery so he looks nothing like hie brother, nephew, niece or indeed anyone in the family. He tends to 'happen' to be in the area when Crush pulls a job as he feels he cannot live up to Gregory's principles but tries not to let his brother down. The children believe he is a mercenary employed by Mum and Dad.

Gregory knows his brother is a bit of a loose cannon but he is not a lost cause.  The police are suspicious but think iit is just a joke played by the family, fountain/geyser.

Fred Fountain is the patriarch of the family preferring to enjoy his retirement from the supervillain team. If the family gets into trouble he will act to help them out without getting fully back into the game. As the Buckler, he creates shields he uses as a low powered tk and dedicated martial arts training to rip through heroes and agents alike.

Unfortunately for the others, he sometimes seeks to destroy his younger brother and his family with his "Dread Touch" (which destroys anything he touches, if given enough time), and strong toughness (about as tough as Crush himself).

Rio Grande

 

Luis Ortega is the getaway driver for the family. He is a rotund Mexican and looks nothing like the family so everyone else assumes he is not related. Actually he is the brother of Gregory and 'Tobias'. On a raid before Gregory got married Steven Fountain was blasted into seeming oblivion. What happened is that his soul transmigrated into the body of a Mexican. Luis has all the skils and memory of Steven and had a hard time convincing his father that it really was him. Gregory is not really sure but 'Tobias' thinks it is a trick. Apart from his driving skills, Luis is a mid level brick. Gregory's wife and children don't know the truth and Luis keeps apart as at times he has trouble dealing with it.

 

So now we are at 7 members.

Red Fountain is a cousin of Fred's. As the Bulletin, he provides information to the family on various forces operating against them whenever they conduct a raid. Red is a recluse and operates as a mission control for his side.

Hear it is again. Number Nine. The one you been dreading... Dread.

Alex Fountain is the brother which not even Crush and Rio Grande speak about. For 'The Prosses' which granted the Fountain family their powers worked differently on him. Not only did it affect his body, but warped him mind. He and Crush formed a supervillian team early in their careers (Traction), which Alex, as Dread, leaded. One day, in a bout of murderous paranoia, he atempted to kill fellow team member Tendril, and was stoped by both Crush and Rio (in his old body and identity, of course). He is currently in Stronghold, but has excaped in the past, even atempting to kill his brother and his family.

He still has his Dread Touch power, which is able to disintegrate anything, over time. And his body is just as tough as his brothers.

He is responciable for the 'accident' which forced Rio into his current body. He still believes he permanently killed him. And he has a 'family' of his own, having raped many a woman during his excapes, scaring them with his Dread Touch. Crush knows about that, and is monitorimg the woman, with Red's help.

Gwendolyn the Bad

 

It really should not have been a surprise that Alex turned out thne way he did with Gwendolyn as his mother. This is the person who can't understand what is wrong with shooting most of the hostages to keep the rest in line. Or blowing up a whole block to cover the escape of the family. Gwendolyn is not just merely murderous, she has become a full blown psychopath which lead to a divorce of such. She is responsible for the process by which the children got their powers and by extension the grandchildren. A little tinkering also caused Alex's psychosis which Gwendolyn only very begrudgingly regrets. She knows that Steven is still alive and that Allen was responsible but as the latter does not call or write she ain't telling him squat. She keeps an eye on the family and occassionally sets things up so Allen can escape prison.

Annie Oakleaves

 

Yes Victoria, there was a Fountain sister and Gregory and the others try not to mention her. Unlike their uncles the kids know about their looney aunt, Annie Oakleaves and Knights Cross to be precise. Annie was a pet project of her mother and is a full blown American follower of he Third Reich as if you had not guessed. Unlike other Nazi frauleins she does not dress up in the fetish gear you would expect. But she is a blonde haired and blue eyed Aryan. She believes that her brother Gregory is a fool for doing what he does without causing casualties. But he also works with that damned Mexican and won't kill Dread which are weaknesses in her eyes. Annie avoids her lunatic brother but stays in contact with her father who she surprisingly loves deeply.

Fred eventuly remaried to Lisa Profando, now Lisa Fountion. But everyone except Gwendoyln and Alex refer to her as Grandma (Even Red does). She has no powers except for a mighty fine cooking skill and an extremly powerful will power. Her 'job', as it is, is to look after whatever they are curently using as a base. Superheros tend to be surprised that when they come knocking, they are more likely to get a cookie and a big welcoming hug than a superfight. As the Fountions are usaly willing to reason once they get to this stage (since it usaly means there job is done).

Pouncer

 

Pouncer is Stanley Fountion, son of Stephen Fountion. He has amazing agility and endurance. He joined the famaly to search for the person who killed his father (which Crush still tells them was an acident to avoid getting the entier famaly killed by Dread). He is realy close to the famaly, and is semi-dating Melissa (which causes a bit of a strain on protective Dan...Tobias is also protective of Melissa, but is more secreted about it).
