The being known as Pancake has a very simple motivation for its hatred of giants..It used to be a normalish human until a gigantic villain stepped on it.  An adaptive mutation allowed Pancake to survive as a two-meter wide, one centimeter tall circle of flesh, but it can never be returned to its original form.  It's not always useful in a fight with giants, but its hatred never wavers.

This is pretty damn twisted.

Well done.

As was said before, that is just sick, twisted and awesome.  I may have to steal it for my game.

The Fluffies are 6 of the meanest critters that resemble stuff toys that have ever lived. They are reverse care bears that spread hate wherever they go.

CES

Do they have to be bears?  If not, I have another idea.  But for now, here's a bear-based one:

Pain-da Bear looks like a fully-grown giant panda (6 feet long, 3 feet tall at the shoulder), but with fangs and sharper claws than a normal panda.  It was a supervillain's genetic experiment gone slightly awry - though it was intelligent as a human and could teleport at will, it didn't have above-human intelligence as the villain planned, so he drugged it and dumped it in a city park just for fun.  When it was found, the unconscious animal was taken to the local zoo, where workers thought it was a normal panda that had gotten loose after someone had smuggled it into the country for a personal collection.

When Pain-da awoke, he quickly escaped, mauling four zoo workers and two security guards in the process.  He took the guards' gun belts and pistols, which he combined to wear around his waist in a two-gun rig.  Pain-da loves three things:  taking a bite out of someone (much more carnivorous than other pandas, he particularly enjoys human flesh), blazing away with his guns (he's getting to be a pretty fair shot), and then teleporting away as chaos ensues.  [bonus points to anyone who gets the reference.]

Kowa Bear happens to look rather like his namesake, a Kowala (please forgive the mispeling...I mean the marsupial from Australia comonly misidentified with a bear). He causes people to experence horific visions, and can generate a fear aura of extream strength. (Kowa. the japanies word, can be use as 'scarie' or 'ugly', and is the revierce of kowai, or cute).

Brad Holcroft used to tease his little sister Tessa mercilessly, especially about her collection of stuffed animals.  Unfortunately for Brad, he didn't know that little Tessa was a mutant who could transform others into anything she wished.  One day, she got sick of Brad's teasing and turned him into a giant unicorn (covered with pink fur instead of hair).  Brad freaked out and gored his sister to death with his horn (not considering that she was the only one who could change him back).  Now trapped as a big pink unicorn, he takes his anger out on anybody unlucky enough to cross his path.

His attempts to have others bleach or dye his fur and make it anything but pink have only had limited success.  The best he can do is make parts of it a garish purple; mostly, all various dye treadments do is make his fur stand on end in wild spikes.  He's even tried having it shaved off, but it grows back amazingly fast.  Angry at the world, he joined the Fluffies, taking the name Punk Unicorn.

(the mutant lumberjack hero who could grow to six stories tall; he used to be able to grow seven stories tall, but that's another story).

A likely story!

[bonus points to anyone who gets the reference.]

Everyone knows a panda bear eats, shoots, and leaves!

Lucius Alexander

The palindromedary wanted to contribute to this team but is fuzzy on the koalafications

Don't call him Fuzzy Wuzzy.  Theodore Eugene Behr worked for a drug and chemicals research company trying to invent a new and better version of Rogaine.  Was he successful?  Yes and No. An "accident" with his latest test formulae turned his hair steel-hard and given him the ability to grow it out several meters at will.  (In game terms, some Growth, a few meters of Stretching and a nasty Damage Shield.)  Because he believes it was no accident, Theo is looking for revenge and doesn't care who he hurts to get it.

Mr Tiger

He was supposed to be Mr Tiger, the cute tiger. Unfortunately it was always referred to by another name, that of another cute or cuteish orange and black cat Garfield. No matter what its creator did it was always referred to as the Jim Davis cat. And accessories would have to include a lasagne and a teddy bear. Something snapped in his creator. No-one knows if a demonic spirit entered the toy, or dark magics were used to animate it, or indeed if electronics were used. But now Mr Tiger turns into a man sized tiger with lethal claws with a particular penchant for attacking anyone carrying branded clothing or gear depicting cartoon or film characters. This lead to the mistaken belief that this was to do with the Anti Disney Society.

well that makes six.

New Team: Tons of Fun !

Most villains and heroes are svelte. This team is not. They are overweight or obese but still capable of doing the crime. Minimum number 5. The fatter the better.

Cal Orbach was your normal couch potato gamer dude, playing with his XBox and Wii and Playstation all day and night.  His atrocious appetite and complete lack of exercise led to him becoming grossly, morbidly obese.  And his constant game playing, only interacting with others online and most often in PvP, led to his utter lack of social skills.  Needless to say, he also has horrid hygeine; that, plus his odious personal habits, make him repulsive to be around for any length of time.

Cal would have continued in this mode if not for a freak lightning storm.  A surge of electricity blew out his game consoles and flowed through the controller into Cal, causing an amazing transformation.  Cal discovered that, by simply holding a game cartridge, he could gain the powers and abilities of any character in the game (yes, even opposing NPCs, though he can only take on the mantle of a "boss" character if he has defeated that character in a game).  Nobody knows how a 400+ pound man can do incredible martial arts stunts as if he was in peak athletic trim, but somehow he can.  He can also summon weapons, equipment, and even vehicles from the game.  (Actually, they're psychokinetic constructs, but Cal insists he "summons 'em from the game.")

It takes Cal a bit of extra time to switch characters, and even longer to switch games, so he typically stays as one of a select few favorite characters, but in a pinch he can switch to an obscure character, especially if that character has an unusual power set that Cal requires.

After spending maybe 5 seconds considering becoming a superhero, Cal decided to embark on a life of crime as Gamer Dude.  His first run-in with a superhero led him to seek out Tons of Fun.  As long as the crimes don't interfere with his gaming (especially after a new game release), he's perfectly happy to use his powers to help out.

Actually, Mega Toni is a rather attractive, voluptuous looking female.  Unfortunately, her mutant power is a super dense state that doesnt have an off switch. (luckily her body made the adjustments necessary to adjust to this ultra-heavy state.)

One benefit any "frisky" perverts will be met with ultimate punch (that 1000 lb. fist packs quite the wallop)

Two Ton Tessie

She does not actually weigh two tons, it is just her name. A career criminal she started out in the circus as the fat lady and has always loved attention. That was what lead her into becoming a supervillain. She can bounce most physical attacks particularly bludgeoning ones. She has been caught but they need to make certain alterations to prisons to incarcerate her which means she can escape from normal custody beforehand. She noted the lack of advancement for those of her size so she helped found the team. She has extensive contacts with the underworld which helps with transporation and planning jobs for the group. She is also a brick but its her belly flop, belly bump that does more damage.

Large Charge has the ability to absorb electrical energy and store it as fat.  He can then convert the fat back into electrical energy which he can use in multiple ways.  While he has shown no upper limit to the amount of energy he can store, Large Charge has an upper limit to the amount of fat he can accumulate and still move.  Also, zapping off his body's natural fat as a last resort is unhealthy in the opposite direction.

Some superpowered individuals have the ability to summon copies of themselves from other dimensions, giving them the ability to seemingly duplicate themselves.  Malcolm Archer has a similar mutation, though he summons his alternate selves into himself, making him increasingly fatter (and stronger and tougher) the more he pulls into himself.  The process has an unusual side effect -- he also gains any skills and knowledge those alternate selves possess, depending upon which versions of himself he merges with.  Others dubbed him Mammoth Mal, a name which has unfortunately stuck with him.  An angry young man, Mal was more than happy to join the team when Tessie approached him.

Roly - Poly thought that it was the worst thing ever to be picked on for being overweight.  Then he became a fat mutant and found that it could get worse.

But his new rock hard carapace on his back turned him into a dynamo or destruction.  Those who had made fun of him for being as wide as he was tall, and so slow he could barely keep up with stationary objects found that when Roly - Poly pulled in his arms and legs, he could roll along faster than a speeding car and could crash through concrete walls unharmed.  Roly - Poly joined Tons of Fun to teach the world that bigger really is better.

That's seven.  Procyon, do you want to post a new team name, theme, and number of members?

I will admit to not making it through this entire thread yet, so to avoid 're-inventing the wheel' so to say, I will happily pass on that.  If you would care to - I will happily designate you as my proxy in this.

I've got a team if no one minds.

Team:  Fun Sized

Members: 7 (equal to Tons of Fun)

Small, tiny, and petite  villains who are professional rivals to Tons of Fun.  (doesnt necessarily have to be tiny to extremes, but must be somewhat smaller than your average human or failing that  have shrink powers.

Maia Anderson was an only and spoiled child.  Her father lavished his attention on his 'little princess' and imbued in her his love of literature, fueling her imagination with tales of mystical lands and people.

But then at a young age, she stopped growing.  Not only did she stop growing - she began to shrink and eventually reached the size of only a few inches. To protect his beloved Maia, her father kept Maia isolated on their woodland estate.  His protection slowly became more and more restrictive as time passed, until the home became her prison.

She managed to escape from him and fled into the surrounding woodlands.  She spent the next few years fleeing from animals that saw her as food or people who tried to cage her as a curiousity.  And from her father who tried relentlessly to again imprison his beloved 'princess'. During this time she learned to hate everything larger than herself.

Then, while hiding in a large flower blossom, she changed again.  Thin, gossamer wings spread out from her shoulders.  She found that not only could she now fly, she could take the images from her imagination and project them into others' minds.  She would send beautiful visions to others, and lure them into places of certain danger or death.  Her first victim was her father, who stumbled into a busy roadway pursuing a 'princess' that wasn't there.

She found others like herself that also hated the 'big folk' and joined them.  Together with her new companions, Thumbe-lethal hopes to bring an end to the rule of the giants who have plagued and ruined her life.

Chaos Butterfly was once an ordinary butterfly until it was bitten by a radioactive human and gained hyperintelligence and (by butterfly standards) immortality.  Now it knows the exact small actions to take in the exact spot to cause enormous disasters.  Soon it will be the smartest being left living on Earth.  That will show those humans!

There have been nearly 300 teams created here.  Believe me, we've already revisited numerous themes, and I'm sure it will happen many times in the future.

As to Fun Sized...

Carl Brown is the only child of a 6'7" tall, 350-pound professional football player, and he loved football just like his dad.  Unfortunately, Carl topped out at a whopping 4'9" tall, and was skinny enough that other kids joked that a strong wind could knock Carl down.  It didn't help that, what Carl lacked in weight and strength, he also lacked in agility and speed.  He was still in high school when he reluctantly gave up his dream of playing football, but he decided he wasn't going to let other people push him around no matter how much they tried. And they certainly did try -- especially Andy Aaronson, the biggest bully at Central High.  (There are rumors that Carl's dad was deeply disappointed in his son and was abusive, but Carl refuses to talk about it.)

One day, Aaronson was shoving Carl around when the smaller boy finally snapped.  The stress activated a latent mutation, causing Carl to lash out telekinetically and throw the bully across the school yard.  Aaronson was badly injured and had to be hospitalized, but Carl didn't care.  As far as he was concerned, the bully, like most "big, tough people" had it coming.

Despite being only 17 years old, Carl is an incredibly strong teke, able to telekinetically lift and move tons of mass without effort.  He can also resist being picked up or otherwise moved against his will.  Realizing the power at his command, Carl left school and his family behind, deciding to take what he wanted regardless of what other said or the law dictated.  He calls himself Lineman, after the position his father plays.
