death tribble
Welcome to the Death Tribble show where Death Tribble is the only one posting to the thread ! Stand by for more Death Tribble posts from the station that knows how to host a lockout, Hero Games ! Barbican This brick can take an awful lot of punishment from physical and energy attacks but he has a low ego. Unfortunately he also has an aura that deals an almost fatal pain to any who would try and use mental powers on him. He is not one of the strongest people you could encounter but his durability enabled him to win. Mind Mini teams with him to take on opponents although she does not really like him. Clonus
Lord Obsidian: Actually an undercover superhero competing under the name Obsidian, the hero was corrupted by winning the "prize" and re-re-dubbed himself "Lord Obsidian". He has the power to generate darkness, and to make darkness solid giving him the Green Lantern by another colour suite. steriaca

csyphrett
Has anyone done Benny and the Jets? A gadgeteer with rocket powered robot followers? I think we did a team, Chris. You might be able to check for it on the hero/villain thread that Death Tribble archives for us. CES

BoloOfEarth
(May Seeker and Paul Hogan both have mercy on my soul.) Finder is a full-blood Japanese man who traveled to the Australian outback and learned how to wrestle crocodiles and use aboriginal magic from a mystic master there. In his floppy shark-tooth hat, khaki pants and vest, and boots, he's quite the striking figure, even if he's a bit short. And his machete... now, that's a knife! steriaca
death tribble
Refractor This villain can draw in energy and and launch it at another target. It was how he won. When people shot him with energy blasts he bounced them onto someone else. He can now do this indirectly by bouncing the blast off a surface and onto another target. This also works on water provided it is still enough. New Team: The Night Battalion Originally set up by DEMON (or whoever is the big mystic bad guys in your campaign), this team would have been considered also rans were it not for a change of fortune when Diabolicus joined and became the new leader. Although the team were always defeated they became fearsome and feared (well when your leader is a big red demon/devil you get noticed and recognition). Although Diabolicus is no longer with the team it still exists, in part trading off its past but also building towards the future. The old team had supernatural members such as vampires, werewolves, witches and all sorts of beings who thrived in the night. That meant that the hero community did not feel too badly about using lethal force against them and killing them. The same is not so true of the new team who have realised they are more of a target if they have vampires et al. Define members of the new team with a minimum of 5 members with the following provisos. 1. They don't have to have dark powers or a name relating to night. 2. Only one werewolf/vampire or genuine supernatural nasty in the first five members. If the minimum is succeeded, a further two can be werewolf/vampire/genuine supernatural nasty. But no more than one werewolf and onr vampire in the whole team. 3. No current member of the team was with the team at the beginning or when Diabolicus arrived. Someone who has been restored to life after being killed under Diabolicus's tenure, or from the beginning, is an allowed exception. 4. The Dark Fae could easily be members as Diabolicus worked for Dr Nymax! before he became the boss. 5. The team are aware of The Corruption, The Dreamstealers and Infernal Affairs and give them a wide berth. 6. The team are not pawns of anyone. 7. The team are also aware that a very powerful witch has been responsible for the demise of some of its previous members (mainly this is the work of the Sophia but the Sybll accounted for a few as well) and are now keeping a lower profile than previously. (It will not do any good as both witches keep an eye on the team and will do something drastic if they think it necessary).
steriaca
Nightcore is the brick of the team. He is a mutant, and has no real knowledge of the supernatural, nor any supernatural gifts. The team uses his existence in the team as a 'mask'. (See, we are not a supernatural villian team. Look...a mutant.) . (For those who do not know nightcore is a style of electronica music, speeded up songs which do not sound like they are sung by Alven and The Chipmunks)
csyphrett
Captain Furlong is a criminal mastermind who likes the pirate motif. he uses flying boats and a robot crew to get what booty he wants. Laser blades and blasters are his preferred weapons. His ship typically presents a big target until the heist is over, then he picks up his team and engages stealth to escape. steriaca
Speed Demon is a speedster who gained his hyperspeed powers via mad science. death tribble
Nacht Hans Schlesser is Nacht, German for Night. He thought that Night King or Night Killer or something of that ilk would attract too much attention. He is the leader of the team and was the one who effectively 'deposed' Diabolicus by getting him to leave. Nacht has some dark powers but has a wealth of contacts in the Underworld and supernatural communities. He is a tad suspicious and paranoid about the witch who seems to have some sort of vendetta going against the team. He witnessed firsthand several attacks on the team undercover of their battles which resulted in the deaths of team mates which, as they were demons, should not have happened. [This was the The Sophia trying to finish Diabolicus but his colleagues, who were powerful and evil in their own right, were more than acceptable collateral damage]. His colleague Dr Fear tried to subtlely investigate and find out who their foe was. His death was far from subtle but effective. Nacht has prevented colleagues from snooping since although he has tried elliptically and abstractly tried to find out who it is. What he does not know is that a ring he wears grants him some protection so that neither The Sophia nor the Sybll have been able to pin him down and elimninate him. Hans provides some energy power but also obscuring powers. And then he has access to a wealth of devices with which he helps the team. Nacht plays up the fact that Furlong is the actual leader as it helps divert attention from the team and from him. Neither of them are fools and as long as it works they intend to let it run. steriaca
steriaca
The second Dr. Fear is mentalist Barbara Hudson, who specialized in inducing fear and horrific visions to her target. She pretends that her powers come from a strange green mist. Her costume hides her gender quite well. She was hand picked by her mentor, the original Dr. Fear, cause her powers mimiced his original fear gas.
freakboy6117
DOOM RAVEN Billy Black was a outcast kid in rural Idaho. bullied and lonely at school he fell in with a "Coven" of goth kids who got into the occult. some how the coven got its hands on an actual grimoire of black magic spells(on ebay). Billy volunteered to be the recipient of the spell trying to impress his crush the only girl in the group, the spell involved the ritual sacrifice of a Raven and then a long painful process as billy's back was hand tattooed with wings using ink made from the ashes of the sacrifice. The spell worked giving billy the ability to create Wings of Ash and shadows. but it wasn't just the power that came through some other dark form came with it and one by one the other members of the coven died screaming Billy did everything he could learning his new powers eventually managing to defeat the thing that came with his powers but not before the girl he loved had died screaming in his arms. Billy was forced to flee his home town as the sole suspect for multiple grizzly murders he disappeared into the occult underworld of New York and eventually became a member of the team. he is the teams stealth specialist and look out. His powers are the wings of ash and shadow that allow him to fly protect him and and also allow him to disappear competently in shadows he also has superior vision from his raven eyes and is able to create black talons. he also can summon command and see through the eyes of any bird in the Corvid family. he has added a number of minor magical artifacts and learnt some lesser spells to supplement the wings since he started working the occult underworld. steriaca

freakboy6117
médecins sans moralité Dr Malcom Veillant was a brilliant but twisted french surgeon during WWII he helped the Nazis in exchange for human subjects for his experiments in life extension and physical enhancement. after the war he fled Europe for America where he worked as an underworld medic performing surgery and experimental enhancements for various crime organisations. now over 100 years of age the not so good Dr has expanded his operations into the premier underworld medical provider médecins sans moralité staffed by unscrupulous doctors and unorthodox nurses with orderlies and security drawn from some of the doctors more spectacularly failed experiments. please provide a 4-6 person médecins sans moralité paramedic team. steriaca
Lockjaw is the brick orderly of Médecins Sans Moraité. He was an unwilling experment who stayed with the team because he had no where else to go. As part of the experment, his lower jaw was 'erased', this preventing him from speaking, and forcing him to eat in unorthodox methods. freakboy6117
Dr Stefan Sonderbar was a gifted but arrogant German surgeon. That was until he crashed his car driving too fast on the autobahn though he survived the crash his hands where seriously injured and nerve damage induced tremors meant he would never be a surgeon again he spent every penny he had on experimental treatments to repair his hands in the end he came to the attention of Dr Veillant who restored the functionality of is hands implanting him with an experimental cybernetic nervous system. Dr Sonderbar is now even more skilled than before and even more arrogant working for Médecins Sans Moraité to pay off his debt. he has found that the experimental nervous system has given him super human reflexes and accuracy and should his team get into trouble he uses precisely thrown scalpels and his knowledge of anatomy to take apart his foes. death tribble
Arabella Winterson is the nurse that assists in most of the operations. She has an understanding of the life force itself and can tell which patients will live and which will die despite any surgery that Médecins sans Moralité could perform. She hates Dr Veillant who treats her with disdain. Why she works for him is not clear but it would appear that some patients may have died under her watch and she would have been convicted of murder if she had not joined the organisation. Whether Veillant was responsible for the deaths in the first place is open to debate. She adheres to the Hippocratic oath. Her name in the organisation is Infirmiére. She rarely speaks to Veillant limiting herself to 'Yes Doctor' or 'No doctor' but will sit and talk to the patients themselves on any number of subjects. steriaca
What freeks can this organisation create over the years? Well, your already familiar with Lockjaw the orderly. The candy-striper is another one. They call him Reach, cause of his arms. They cut his wrists off, then surgerly atached another pair of arms onto the stumps, giving him an amazing reach in the prosses. Again, this guy works for them cause he has nowhere else to go. steriaca
Blazer Hund is a metahuman able to generate fire, and can withstand fiery and hot places. He has a slight pyromania streak in him, which he use to use to work out his anger for the trouble. He is the Hound of Tir Danaan of fire, and is quite proud of that fact (and the fact that he never set a woman nor child alite, that he knows of).
