He hangs their bodies on poles when they lose. The government has tried to sweep him up several times but his unknown identity makes that impossible. Master of the 15 blades the Koreans for years have had their own weapon in the form of a polearm wielder known as The Master of the 15 Blades. The legend says, and this is hotly disputed by the others, that their family is the oldest and has the most impressive of the weapons. Besides mastering martial arts, the Master of the 15 Blades can employ a Korean made weapon, a polearm unique to the peninsula. It has several blades and can extend and retract. The current title holder hates the Japanese for the occupation of his country which only ended at the end of the 2nd World War; the Americans and the Soviets (now Russia) for the division of his country and splitting Korea into North and South and the Chinese for their invasion and support of Communism in the Korean War. The family also believe that the Chinese and Japanese members of the Immortal Weapons tried to exterminate them during the entire period of the 20th Century. Somehow they failed and there will come a reckoning. NEW TEAM: the Deadly Dozen. this was one of the first supervillain teams and lasted from 1965 until 1985. Many villains got their first starts in the team and for some their first taste of jail or an untimely death. List any member of the team from the period. Blackwind David Blackwind was a 'humble' TV meterologist when he was caught in a freek storm after being let go for a meterologist with a little more sex apeal. The storm somehow gave him wind control powers, witch eventuly expanded into weather powers giving time. After a few years as a solo villian, out to get revenge on his fiering, he mellowed down a bit and joined the group. The Crimson Gnat The Crimson Gnat was a mainstay of the team throughout the 70s until 1983. For many he was viewed as an irritant rather than a true foe as his main defence was not getting hit. Incarcertaed several times he was lucky enough to escape or be involved in escapes which actually succeeded for him anyway. And he got his flight kit back with the extra large wings. He was a colleague of Ren the Space Weasel although the latter never served with the Dozen. He used a variety of different aliases including John Holmes, John Doe, John Deer, John Deere and Barney Highenbottom so his true identity was never established. He died during the Deadly Dozen's participation in the Great Boston-Chicago run which was an attempt to commit as much crime in a direct line in both cities and between them. He fell foul of American Protector whom some historians have labelled as too Iron Age for the Iron Age. The popular opinion is that the "hero" felt that the Gnat had used up any chances of rehabilitation or redemption open to him so set him on fire and watched emotionlessly as the Gnat plunged screaming to his death. You are undoubtedly aware of the meme that followed this where the "hero" just turns to camera and goes 'Oops'. The Protector was prosecuted for this, and for other, questionable deaths but always managed to get off scot free. He was outted by the rest of the Dozen when they became aware that he was ensuring the untimely deaths of his fellow team members. Evidence surfaced that he led the Crimson Gnat to his death by the American Protector, and others. He joined by the recommendation of this friend the Crimson Gnat. Shortly after the Gnat's death, he left the group. Reports have surfaced that he spent a few years as mercenary for hire in Southeast Asia and Africa, but nothing of note of in the last 15 years. Eduardo Eduardo was an auxillary member of the Dozen back in '82, but he didn't make that much of an impression on his teammates or his enemies -- at first. In fact, if you pressed any of the surviving members, they couldn't even tell you what his abilities were. But then the Banco Ambrosiano collapsed... ...and a few secret bank accounts of the Dozen had suddenly been emptied. Eduardo has been MIA ever since. Wealthy, in peak physical condition, a trip to Wales one summer to relax after a grueling medieval history thesis instead somehow shattered Arthur's psyche --fragmenting him into seven new personalities outside of Arthur Dagon. Each personality is now a perversion of the myths of Camelot, all serving "King" Arthur in someway. You only do ONE personality. Mystic heroes who have clashed with the various Knights have detected some sort of magic surrounding each one (of course, only one Knight appears at any given time), but they have yet to determine its origin. Wearing a strange green armour and wielding an energy axe is the Green Knight of Thorns. When the mood strikes him, he rides into town on his flying mechanical horse, and ishues a chalange for heros to stop him. So far, the heros have failed as he clames there heads. Think of the stereotype of one of the lads (British) on holiday in the Mediterranean then give him the powers of a knight and that's Sir Gal. Obnoxious just does not come into it and then there's the fact that any woman he confronts must want to sleep with him. Mar Mayhem of the Maid Prehaps the strangest personality manufatured by Arther. Wearing a suit of armor shaped like a woman wearing midevil armor, Mar Mayhem spekes in an femimen tone and seeks the destruction of all male society. To help 'her' in this gole, 'she' wields a gadget filled sword and again rides a flying robo-horse. The oddest thing is that sometimes she receves gifts from Sir Gal The Lad, othoe neather of them meet. This charater violated the rules of one personality per personin this thread.
