Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

New team: The Skinwalkers

Number: 6

Theme: The Skinwalkers are a pack of therianthropes, (aka "werecreatures") who begrudgingly work together for the sake of mutual protection, profit and revenge -- and they ALL have huge chips on their shoulders. However, none of the members are your conventional werewolf. In fact, none of them are werecanines in any form (and yes, that means no "natural form is a wolf so he turns into a werehuman" as well). The one thing the Skinwalkers can all agree on is that they REALLY hate being called werewolves or lycanthropes.

Grizzletooth

Mark Baxter really should have listened to the warnings not to mess with the Indians and not to mess with the wildlife. But he was one of the boys ! And the boys can have fun can't they ? However a Medicine Man cursed him the day he shot a black bear cub. 'Now you will rise as a bear when the moon is full and attack those of your own who would do this'. Well the old guy was talking out of his gourd, wasn't he ?

Nope. When the moon was full Mark became a Werebear and began hunting the hunters looking for things in off season. And he killed them. That lead to a manhunt and trackers looking for the strange bear. Mark began moving away from anywhere when he changed into the Bear and killed people. But oh how he enjoyed the thrill of being so wild ! A thrill beyond anything else he had ever experienced.

When he joined up with the Skinwalkers the Medicine Man reappeared and cursed him further. Now he could not attack anyone of Indian descent and would protect an Indian from attack by the others.

Think of a giant Grizzly bear on speed and you have Grizzletooth. He's now in it for the money and for the fact that he can beat the tar out of the others but don't tell them that.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Viper agent David Haskil got lost durring desert training, and came upon a strange, almost serpentine woman. After a night of lovemakeing, she shead her skin, revealing a wear-serpent within who wanted David for lunch. Forcently, David killed her, but not before she bit him.

Now, when the moon shines, he sheads his human skin and becomes Serpantine. He is hunted by Viper (he went AWOL after his first transformation), but enjoys his powers as a arm-less and leg-less wear-serpent.

Dr Steraica is weapons

Acualy, Profesor Steriaca is not just weapions...he is "Gamertech". Basicly technology designed to manipulate the 'rules' of the 'role-playing game' he is in. Or to refer to thoes rules. Yes, it is mostly weapions, but thats not ALL he can do.

Most people think he's a crazy as Foxbat, except replace comic books with role-playing games. Few realy know he's an extra-dimentinal who came from a world where eveything in this world is a part of interactive fiction. (Dr. Nymax! knows well that he is not from around here...others in the group...who knows.)

We now return you to our curent group, the Skinwalkers, already in progress.

Duckbeak

The science geek Pete Palmer camped in the forests when he was bitten by a Were-Platypus. He used his powers to get revenge on all those people who always had picked on him. While he had the means to get the cure in time, he choose not to. He slightly regreted that next week when he found out that he a) turned into a female and B) hated laying eggs...

Anyway, being indentified as the attacker/wereplatypus he had to run for his life and joined the Skinwalkers.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Josephine Korngeld was a vigilante witch, using her spells to punish wicked men by transforming them into innocent little girls. At first, she only did this to the worst of the worst (who weren't already being punished by the legal system), but as time went by, her threshold of what made a man "wicked" dropped considerably, until she started transforming men for just making sexist comments in public. This abuse of her powers was karmically repaid when she attempted to transform a Mafia don who'd gotten himself DEMON connections and powerful protective charms. The spell bounced back at Josephine.

Now, most of her mystic power is taken up trying to suppress the transformation. But whenever Jennifer is overstressed or exposed to the full moon, she becomes the Were-Man, a hairy brute who reflects her negative stereotypes of the male human, and possesses great strength.

New Team: The Intolerant: Six members.

This team only worked together once. A couple of powerful energy being aliens decided to have an experiment to determine whether hate or love was the more powerful emotion. Each alien put together a team to represent that emotion, and the Intolerant are all somehow related to hate. (They hate something or person or group, or have hate-based powers, or just have hateful personalities.) While the Intolerant were individually more powerful than the heroes of the Love team, their negative emotions caused them to have poor teamwork, usually conflicting with each other over the slightest things, while the Love team could at least stand each other.

After losing, the Intolerant vowed never to work together again, but since the whole event was recorded and leaked to the internet, no one will let them forget it.

Who are these six?

Mans World

His intolerance is towards women. He is smug and patronising and believes that all a lesbien needs is a good man. He also believes that a woman's place is in the home etc. You get the idea. He will endlessly pontificate about how men did all the real work in construction, religion, politics and war etc. And he can't be hit by women. One of his powers so to speak which makes him even more annoying.

Scar.

Denver Wilson hates himself. He hates himself enougth to atempt suicide. But each time he tries, something goes wrong and he lives to see the next day. He jumped off a bridge more than once, only to be caught in mid air by, well, you name the flying superhero and he or she had caught him. Cutting his wrists open only gave him heavy scar damage cause someone always notices he is bleeding and stitches him up. He can't even drown right. Finaly, he was about to throw himself infrount of a train when the energy aliens noticed his self-hatred and picked him for there project.

Thay hypercharged his cells, alowing him to regenerate from anything. Made him imune to many a harmful thing. Made him imune to pain, being unable to even feal it. And, if he attacks himself, he is able to create an area of pain around himself which affects all thoes who are nearby.

Scar, as he now calls himself, searches for a way to die. Unbenounced to him, there is a way out of his imortality...his powers are nulified forever once he feals like he wants to live, and acualy likes himself.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Champion-Killer was an android created by Dr. Destroyer to defeat the Champions. To do so, it has the combined powers of the Champions...as they existed in their first year as a superteam. It also has all their weaknesses. When he finished it, Zerstoiten decided he'd been having an off day and stuffed it in a storage unit. Some years later, the Champions happened to raid this old Destroyer base and activate the Champion-Killer. Programmed to hate the Champions, CK proceeded to attack. Since by this time, the Champions were far more powerful and experienced, they easily overpowered CK. Ever since, the Champion-Killer has attempted to gain sufficient power to finally defeat the hated Champions and earn its "father's" approval.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

It's been a short month.

I'll pick a team.

Let's see.

Several families in the far east have raised their children as weapons. These lineages are passed down from parent to child. And the families are at war with each other.

Give me six Immortal Weapons and their family line.

Fist of the Summer Lightning

Some of those who learn the art of Kung Fu from the Shao Lin temples do not necessarily use it for good. Some use it for the State and the protection of the nation. That is what those who bear the moniker Fist of the Summer Lightning do. Granted when China fell into chaos this was extremely difficult what with the Boxer rebellion and the downfall of the Imperial House, then Japan seizing a large amount of the country, the rise of Communism and the strict limits on the number of children. The Fist have been secret weapons of China despite the fact that they can often end up in the wrong part of the country or on the wrong side. One of the tenets of the family is how to beat an opponent to death with Kung Fu which is anataema to the Shao Lin temple and has resulted in conflict with the two organisations. Were it not for the chaos of Chinese history and the proximity of the Pacific Rim more than one member of the family would be around to do the bidding of the Government. The last really invincible and nigh immortal member of the family died when Krakatoa blew its top and devastated the Pacific region.

Think of it as a form of unluck.

Master Ninja

Even amongst the Ninja there is one pre-eminent figure. Some are Ninja Masters but there is only one Master Ninja. He is one of the deadliest assassins in the world and is hated by the other families and their Immortal weapions as he, or indeed she, has tested himself out aginst them by killing them. There have been several attempts to wipe out the entire Ninja clans in the rather vain hope of killing off the Master Ninja. The clans themselves have lost all reference to whether this family was one of theirs, still is, went renegade or somehow learned the lessons and then passed them down the generations. One of the family is believed to have died in one or both of the atomic explosions during the 2nd World War. None the less the other families believe that the family still exists, the Master Ninja still exists and that he or she will try and kill them as a means of eliminating the competition and weeding out weakness. Real ninjas don't let you discover the family name. Really good ninjas just make you think they are a myth or a tale to scare children.

Meiko of the 13 Tails.

Meiko is the latest in Japan's secreted 'scorpion famaly'. The famaly martial arts involves using there own living hair as a weapion, and Meiko is no difrent. She has mastered using 13 braid-blades at once without harming her own hair, and has grown her hair out to a wopping 12 feet. She is deadly and no-nonsence, leaving corpses of thoes who displease her famaly behind her. Some say the secrets of the famaly's hair and chi powers involves shampoing the hair with a mixture of human blood and scorpion vemon.
