(I've really become discombobulated, huh) Team: The Nation-Builders Members: 6 Like the Mantle, they now control a small group of islands. Unlike the noble Mantle, they do not nurture the natives*, but rather rule as god-kings. What's more, they have set up a kind of micro-nation, that tends to recruit criminals** who need a place to stay in return for help in their future plans. The Nation-Builders are 6 megalomaniacs who have after learning the location*** of the islands teamed up to rule. Even a small nation to rule is better than nothing. Though they still have the desire to rule the world. * They may or may not be cruel to the natives particularly, but the natives are pawns for their plans. **Not all who come there may be criminals necessarily per se. Some may have a skill that is suitable for their burgeoning nation. But, criminal elements would definitely be a popular element. ***The location? He is not much of a brain but he had ambition plus he could throw a punch and take a hit with the best of them. However his armoured suit was limited in that it was ground based and althoughh he could survive underwater he did not have a lot of speed there. He was on the verge of jacking the whole career in due to drubbings by heroes (even the Golden Guardian, sheesh !) and the parody Detriot Irony when he was told about the islands. Since then he has come into his own and has yet to lose interest in terrorising the natives or running around in the armour threatening all and sundry despite the heat. Before coming to the island, he was simply another gadget gimick crinimal, specalising in spookie 'haloween' gimick weapions. The natives of the island think he is death personified, and this obay his comands, OR ELSE! He is friendly with Detrot Iron (thay worked together in the past), and is working on creating a funcioning air conditioing unit for his suit (in spite the fact that his technological skills do not include armor desige). Being able to turn water into tentacles wasn't that useful on the mainland. Now it's a defensive weapon the world wished it had never seen. God Mind One of the most egomaniacal of all mind controllers and mentalists, which is saying something, God Mind always found himself overshadowed by the achievements of other villains and of the heroes themselves. Anything he could do, others did better. And he ended up in prison because you just cannot get decent help. However as people always need someone to control a whole bunch of minds, he was often freed from incarceration. After trying and failing a whole number of times, God Mind got himself busted out of prison and spent a whole 6 months thinking. What do I do wrong; where can I go away from the heroes; who can I employ or team with; what can I do next. It was he who found the islands and then suggested to the others that they could go there and rule as opposed to getting pummelled in California. So after some more planning, off they went. Surprisingly God Mind finds that this new life agrees with him and he does not need to betray or control the others. Things are fine as they are. Rusher, a low level speedster, is going stircrazy on the island. The big problem is that he joined the group to the island thinking that controling the island would make him a big leage villian ("Not Doc D level, but at least Holocaust level"). Instead, he spends his days bugging eveyone when thay are going to do something world shaking. Needless to say, God Mind has to use his powers on Rusher more than any other member of the group. He uses a whip as a weapon and has a police record for using the bolas to kill people. The new incarnation of the team allows him to use gimmicked bolas as well as a straight forward gun. The Voice of Murtie The Voice of Murtie is the title of the man who controls all media (the one radio station and one TV station, and makes shure of a limited internet acess for the few who can read...no newspapers are alowed in San Murtie) durring the time before the 'acadent' which happened to the leader. Now the defacto leader of San Murtie (by hideing the fact of the bad Profesor's death...if your using his death. If not, he is now his mouthpiece, afraid that if the people know of the damage to him, he might not be able to hold onto the country), he runs the country with just as much fear as the old leader. And the Profesor gifted him, when he was alive (or 'well', GM's choice) with mutated voical cords, alowing him to speek in the sonic range. If you are trying to test your defences then you really need a great escape artist and that is where Felix comes in. One of the great burglers of our time he is also acknowledged as one of the great escape artists. So if there is any flaw in the castle's design Felix will find it. The trouble is that Felix is too independently minded for some people. He has ethics and standards. He won't work for some people. The Dark Illuminati decided to kill two birds with one stone. Get Felix to test their prison and if he failed they had him. A win-win for them. Or is it ? Felix is not called Felix for nothing.... All thay know is that he is a brick with a odd, hammer head shaped helm on his head. He has broken down castle walls, but always finds more of them. (It should be noted that Hamerhead is not exactly a who, but a what. The best way to think of him is a less violent Red Primade from Silent Hill. Big. Appears out of nowhere. Freekie looking. Silent. Jabez might have escaped with his soul. But, future generations had that hint of corruption. His son became quite the sociopath. It drove his mother to an early grave. After the Civil War, he became one of the most notorious carpetbaggers. The 3rd generation created quite a celebrity. You perhaps know him by his stage name "The Axeman of New Orleans" The 4th and 5th generations werent so bad. The 4th, afraid of what his father, and grandfather were merely drunk himself to death. The 5th, after a wild childhood. Served in Korea with honors. And came back to become a pious pastor in a small town and have 2 well-adjusted daughters. It would seem the curse of the first son in the family was ended. As the pastor died a peaceful death at his home. Except in his wild teenage years in the late 1940's he had had an illegitimate son, he would never know about. This 6th generation member of the Stone family would become a high ranking member of DEMON. And then we have come to the 7th generation. Aloysius Stone better known as Shadowstone has become a practitioner in dark magic, particular with anything doing with shadows aare his specialty. More powerful than his father he would go rogue from DEMON after defeating (and apparently killing) his father. After refusing to join the Dark Iluminati he finds himself locked up here. They seem to have contained him for now with specially placed crystals that nullify his magic using ability. But, he is wily, and more skilled than a man in his late 30s would be expected to be.
