WWYCD: Raiding A Villain Team's Base While The Villains Are Out...

Your character and some associates managed to sneak into the headquarters of a villain team while they were all out. Most of what you find is fairly standard villain base stuff, though you have had the unique opportunity to explore their living quarters...

Room #1: This room is kind of spartan: the bed and other furnishings are nothing too fancy. There's a mini-refridgerator and microwave in one corner, and the fridge is stock mostly with beer. On brackets on one wall is a HUGE collection of pistols, rifles, and heavier weapons. A computer on the nearby desk is a Windows machine and mostly has first-person shooter games installed on it. A notebook next to the computer is full of photos of people with Xs drawn through their faces in red marker and the words "BOOM! HEADSHOT!" also written in red block letters on them. In the closet are assorted casual civillian clothes, old military uniforms, and (surprisingly enough) a small collection of My Little Pony toys and paraphenalia pushed way far into the back of the upper shelf.

Room #2: This room seems to have been furnished as the boudoir of a seductress: Black satin sheets on the bed, mood lighting, and a luxurious en suite bath with its own jacuzzi. A sound system in the room seems to be playing Enigma's The Principles Of Lust in perpetuity from the moment you entered. The closet and dressers are mostly stocked with lingerie and sleepwear from Victoria's Secret. Tucked away in the bottom drawer of one dresser is a collection of handcuffs, riding crops, and other *ahem* "adult toys".

Room #3: This room is bone-chilling cold, the walls are painted an icy blue, and the floor has white carpet. One whole wall consists of a mural of a frozen tundra, polar bears, and an igloo. In place of a bed is what looks like a cryogenic chamber of some sort. Gathered around the cryo-pod is a collection of plushie penguins and snowmen. Some dangerously sharp icicles are hanging down from the ceiling above.

Room #4: This room features a MASSIVE electronic entertainment center taking up one whole wall from from floor to ceiling. Several shelves around the room hold an equally impressive collection of CDs, DVDs, and Blu-Ray Discs. If you pick up the remote sitting on the bed and press the power button, you will damned nearly be blown to the opposite side of the room by the huge, powerful speakers.

Room #5: This room has a lot of Victorian Era furnishings, shelves stocked with an entire library of old books, and a fireplace. An old Victrola is on a small table next to a high-backed dark leather chair. Several trophy heads of wild animals (mostly from Africa) are mounted on one wall, along with numerous old black and white photos of a man in safari gear and a monicle standing victorious over various game animals he's shot with a long rifle.

What group of villains live here? WWYCD?

As soon as the player characters make their breakout rolls, they realize they're in their own base and have entered one another's rooms.

Then they start asking each other what they can do to oppose a mindwarping villain who not only made them abort their planned raid but did so by manipulating them into infiltrating their own headquarters.

Lucius Alexander

Welcome to my palindormitory room. Entering it is the same as exiting it, so of course it's confusing. You only think you're still outside of it.

Okay, you've piqued my curiousity. Who are your PCs, and in particular, which one of them is the heavily armed psychokiller who's a closet Brony?

I think the weird stuff in the rooms is part of the delusion. They just infiltrate their own base and wake up a bit confused in their teammate's rooms.

Death Commando.

Room #2: This room seems to have been furnished as the boudoir of a seductress:

Scatterbrain. All grown up in a supervillainess-y way.

Room #3: This room is bone-chilling cold,

Chiller, aka Frost.

Room #4: This room features a MASSIVE electronic entertainment center taking up one whole wall from from floor to ceiling.

Requiem, aka Deathsinger.

Umm. Dunno.

Clearly, this base belongs to Deathstroke, a team not seen since 4th Edition. It's not surprising that they've had a turnover of membership.

WWYCD: Clearly they have been doing something to attract our attention. Notify the authorities. Refrain from evidence tampering (too late, I know). Prepare an ambush for the bad guys. Hope we haven't ruined any chance of convictions for whatever it is they have been doing.

Frosty Bob-  steals all the guns from Room 1 for his self, never gets past Room 2 as he wants stay and wait till she gets back.  :jawdrop:

Badger-  probably blew half the base up after accidentally turning on the entertainment system in Room 4, and have a serious freak out trying to stop the noise.

Dark Star - he's clearly been called in as back up by the Heroes for Hire because they're on the trail of some super-group style bunch of (second tier) villains.

Room 1 clearly belongs to some Punisher wannabe. Dark Star would take the time to fill all of the gun barrels with solid Darforce. He doesn't know what a Brony is and would assume the toys are for the bad guy's (probably estranged) kid.

Room 2 - could only belong to Bulldozer. Since not even this bunch of second stringers would trust him with sensitive info we move on after a perfunctory search.

Room 3 - Probably Icicle. The chill would start to work on Dark Star's PTSD, he'd spend as little time in the room as he could.

Room 4 - Home to technophile Gauntlet. When Hombre Panthera (one of Dark Star's team mates) turns on the entertainment system (and he will) Dark Star will probably cry out in panic and blast the thing. When the smoke has settled they would continue the search, with many hostile glares in Dark Star's direction.

Room 5 - this must be the brains of the operation (Really. I mean look at the rest of the group.) This is some previously unknown villain. He's an immortal weapons master/martial artist. (Think Boxing, Greco-Roman Wrestling and Fencing.) He goes by the name Gentleman Jim (real name James Broxley, born in England in 1870 or so.) He has gathered this bunch of second stringers to make committing robberies easier. He has a personal distaste for all of his allies but his Gentleman's Code of Honour means he would never betray them. But when he has made enough money to satisfy himself he will disband the group.
