  1. I've been considered old since I was a teenager, even had they gray hair in my late teens to prove it. In any case, I am a historian of sorts, and prefer to live in the past (well in my mind, of course) Note: I am watching I Love Lucy on TV as I type
  2. Someone was watching Fullmetal Alchemist other than me.
  3. Well, you can always look at Pride from Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Flashes were a weakness, but also total darkness was too. (ever since watching it, I've loved the idea of total darkness being a counter to shadow manipulation)
  4. Someone should do a thread on best/worst types to mentor a sidekick.
  5. Well, to be fair, my own creation did pre-date my knowledge of the existence of the comic character. (I didn't know about the comic character until a while after I'd come to this website.)
  6. Pacino, gets the nod shaking of the horns What to eat? Soylent Green vs Nutella
  7. I will say Revenge of the Sith wasnt all that bad, once I did finally get around to watch it. Unfortunately, the first 2 prequels had completely destroyed the mystique. But, the 3rd I'll at least watch if I find it, with nothing else to do, the first 2 I would cut off the TV and stare at the blank screen first.
  8. I wouldnt know who would hate the Ewoks? *sees Ewok* "Damn you, damn you all to hell" *starts firing*
  9. Hmm, I've never been afraid about taking showers, even after watching the movie. Maybe because, I was always taught to cut the water off while lathering up with soap. At least at that part of the shower, I could hear someone coming. I guess washing my hair could pose a risk if the shampoo gets in my eyes leading up to the attack, (though when my eyes are in pain, I tend to go into recently awoken angry bear mode)
  10. Another ironic thing is: Rurals are supposed to be the cannibals despite places that are more likely to grow the food supply are traditionally in the rural areas.
  11. Well, it is ironic for me, rural areas are natural to me, I've taken hikes through woods without a 3nd thought (when age 12 even less, if you count the small section of woods that used to next to the side of my house). But, I want no part of a city, been to Richmond twice, and DC once will never go back. Even smaller cities I've been in throughout VA and NC I didn't particular like being in for more than a few hours. (I really don't even like going into the small city that is inside my county, but that at least is largely complicated by the fact that their traffic system was likely developed by someone who had a staring contest with Cthulhu.
  12. Well, we have 2 theaters in the county, and I was talking about the better one**. I have gone to theaters in some nearby towns in my youth, that were better. But, 2 counties over, well it seems hardly worth taking almost more time driving to the theater than watching the movie itself. **Actually the "other" one probably was the better one (or at least cleaner one, if you were willing to wait an extra week to see it) back in the 80s, but it got run down pretty bad starting in the 90s. Too bad they used to in my childhood show an old Disney movie a few Saturdays a year for the kids at low prices (heck in Nov/Dec for a can to go to the food drive) saw a lot of classics for the first time. (well, thinking on it most of those Saturdays were in the summer and Nov/Dec for Christmas time)
  13. Well, I watch less and less every year, though before looking forward to the Premier League, I am looking more forward the Lawn-mowing league. (DT will probably try to strike me down with lightning now or worse say he likes Ewoks)
  14. One turtle does remain for the next battle Ninja square Naruto vs. Scorpion vs. Stormshadow vs Michelangelo
  15. Whether I mentioned or not already I will again to make sure: Didnt care for the Matrix movies.
  16. I've not gone to a movie theater since 1999, and dont plan to likely anytime soon. (partly due to no movie I wanted to see that much (enough to go at least, the LOTR movies did tempt me admittedly), but also partly due to having the people who want to talk non-stop during the movie sit near me the last several times I went. Also, while not a full-blown clean freak, the fact that I could probably still find the uncleaned soft drink stain I made while watching the animated Transformers movie as a kid, at my local theater does disturb me enough to not want to go, unless it was really worth my while)
  17. I'd watch WW, and GotG if it was on TV, and not much to do, probably wouldn't even that with Spiderman
  18. The same, I've also become fairly uninterested in Marvel in general.
  19. While I did like Firefly, I didn't really care about Buffy
  20. Add Guardians of the Galaxy 1, and you got me.
  21. *badger runs and hides in his burrow, before the big guns come out*
  22. Not reading the article to find out where the location is, don't like clowns, and don't want to tempted into going out for destruction. I don't really have a cemetary hang up, however. (ANd I live "in the middle of nowhere", so that wont bother me)
