  1. Re: Availability of 6th Edition books on Amazon Order from the online sore here. Delivery is usually in a week and typically free.
  2. Re: Quadrotor That is kinda cool. Now they have to enlarge that thing and sell tickets for rides.
  3. Re: Casual Wednesday - Online Gaming (4 PM PST to 9 PM PST) Dude. I can do this. Just need more people.
  4. Re: Casual Wednesday - Online Gaming (4 PM PST to 9 PM PST) This actually sounds interesting. I just need to know where.
  5. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Sadly, it appears that this application is dead. It needs a host. See the blog post for more information. You need to translate it.
  6. Re: Heromachine and similar applications Instant death. I went to the links for Fabrica De Herois and it is down. The blog is there, but the flash application is not. I translated the page and got this: I am assuming they need a host.
  7. Re: New to Fantasy Hero Yay!!! I have time to save for this. Excellent news!
  8. Re: [After-Action Report] Villainy Amok I liked Villainy Amok as well. I have used (and re-used) it in several campaigns for hooks and the like. I have not used any of the scenarios as published, but the maps were perfect and the random generated plots were great for getting creative juices flowing. Extremely useful. Thanks for the hard work.
  9. Re: Harry Potter Characters I like the Teleport use. I would also say Mega scale as an option would work as well. In the book it is rarely used over long distances, with Goblet of Fire being the only exception that I know of. BTW, Hyper-Man, I have almost all of the spells done and very simple write up of the Potterverse in Hero. Am thinking about a play-test. Hint, hint. PS: No, I will not post it yet.
  10. Re: Harry Potter Characters I agree with Ranxerox on the VPP. I just wrote up the individual spells as an example. Not sure I would agree with the MP, as in the books the wizards have multiple spells at once. I know that is possible, but you run into that MP cap quickly. Just my opinion.
  11. Re: Harry Potter Characters My take on the Accio spell: 6 Accio - Basic: Summon 100-point Anything that exists (20 Active Points); OAF (Wand; -1), Requires A Skill Roll (-1/2), Gestures (-1/4), Incantations (-1/4), Item must exist (-1/4) 7 Accio - Quiet: Summon 100-point Anything that exists (20 Active Points); OAF (Wand; -1), Requires A Skill Roll (-1/2), Gestures (-1/4), Item must exist (-1/4) 7 Accio - Skilled: Summon 100-point Anything that exists (20 Active Points); OAF (Wand; -1), Gestures (-1/4), Incantations (-1/4), Requires A Skill Roll (Active Point penalty to Skill Roll is -1 per 20 Active Points; -1/4), Item must exist (-1/4) 7 Accio - Very Skilled: Summon 100-point Anything that exists, Requires A Skill Roll (No Active Point penalty to Skill Roll; +0) (20 Active Points); OAF (Wand; -1), Gestures (-1/4), Incantations (-1/4), Item must exist (-1/4) Protego: 7 Protego - Basic: Force Field (10 PD/10 ED) (20 Active Points); OAF (-1), Requires A Skill Roll (-1/2), Gestures (-1/4), Incantations (-1/4) 7 Protego - Quiet: Force Field (10 PD/10 ED) (20 Active Points); OAF (-1), Requires A Skill Roll (-1/2), Gestures (-1/4) 10 Protego - Mental Defense: Force Field (10 PD/10 ED/10 Mental Defense) (30 Active Points); OAF (-1), Requires A Skill Roll (-1/2), Gestures (-1/4), Incantations (-1/4) 7 Protego - Skilled: Force Field (10 PD/10 ED) (20 Active Points); OAF (-1), Gestures (-1/4), Incantations (-1/4), Requires A Skill Roll (Active Point penalty to Skill Roll is -1 per 20 Active Points; -1/4) 8 Protego - Very Skilled: Force Field (10 PD/10 ED), Requires A Skill Roll (No Active Point penalty to Skill Roll; +0) (20 Active Points); OAF (-1), Gestures (-1/4), Incantations (-1/4) I put the RSR in there as it gives a chance for the spell to fail, which does happen.
  12. Re: running combat with the speed chart http://www.herogames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1815434&postcount=1 I went to the link in here and got the SWF file locally. Hyperman, I may have to look at your doodad again.
  13. Re: PA: Wasteland HERO Reboot Dude. What are you doing? Starting this back up and NOT telling me??!! I don't think so. As for the disease, the Transform works IMO. It could give the disad as well. Now I am off to find Cale.
  14. Re: Kazei 5 Second Edition Update Really. Come on. Are you slacking or something??
  15. Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread.

  21. Re: 6th Ed Champions Universe Thread Necromancy..... That would be cool. Seriously.
  22. Re: So what concepts are you tempted to play on the MMORPG anyway? Hmmm...Good question. I would like to try a good blaster. Fairly generic, I know, but as SS said, it is an old favorite Champions character (from 3rd Edition). Maybe a mentalist as well.
  23. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Got him for ya.

  25. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Here is a link to the previous version. I am not sure how old it is. Go to the link provided. Click free. Wait the time Click download. You will need to be able to unarchive RAR files (win rar). This should give you some files, one of which is an HTML document. Open the HTML in your favorite browser with flash support. Enjoy.
