  1. Are you playing in MC? If so, maybe Blackburn's Books survives to the 2018 and she can be of help.
  2. Our first encounter with Firewing's alien forces resulted in the utter destruction of a few blocks of town and our sound defeat. "We should have asked them if they come in peace."
  3. Many "City" books for the various Superhero games have a list of the top 10-20 richest people in town, leaving 4-5 spots open for NPC/PC created by the GM/Players. Looking through MC, though I couldn't find a list. Here are 5 I have devised: 1) Donovan Bane: A multibillionare inventor/businessman. Donovan is a classic Lex Luthor type powermad congrol friek. Complete with two sexy assistants/Bodyguards and a hulking chauffeur. He has gone to great lengths to conceal both his criminal holdings and the fact that he is a mutant. 5) Danae Churchwell: 20 something heiress and blood relative of the Duchess. Danae gives generously to charity, hosts fundraisers and builds hospitals. She moved to Millenium city when she was 15 and now she's attending MCU. Beautiful, intelligent, kind, she has a few quirks too. She's a hero groupie and has a secret 5000.00 a month comic book habit. She also collects Cartoon DVD (Champions TAS season 1 & 2 Baybee!). She would be ideal as a benefactor for a superteam but she dreams of being a hero herself. 10) Takiro Yamamoto. Founder and CEO of Blue Oni Entertainment, Mr. Yamamoto made his fortune developing video games, particularly the specacularly graphical RPG series "Sword of Angels". Taking some hits from critics for being to flashy with out the solid story lines of its progenator, SoA is on its sixth installment. BOE also is unique in that it is a very japanese company based in the US. They release games in America and Japanese simultaneously. Recently Mr. Yamamoto has made two decisions that have gretly impacted the company, he has started development on the SoA MMORPG, something he was loath to do before but now sees as a viable option (perhaps because rival Squaresoft did the same). Secondly, BOE bought the rights to a cheesey 70's kung fu flick took it framy by frame and used their remarkable CG technology to enhance the film, eliminating croping errors, adding special effects, giving it lavish colors and back grounds, then redubbing the whole thing with his fine translation department. The film, renamed Fist of the Invincible Shaolin, went straight to DVD and sold like gangbusters. They have decided to try it again and have been buying the rights to several old kung fu films. 15) Reed Collier: CEO of Hybrid Automotive, a surprisingly lucrative company that produced the first Feul-Cell based automobiles to America shortly after the rebuilding began in MC. Endorsed by both the Clinton and Bush administrations as a model of American Ingenuity, Collier's cars have become the fastest selling new vehicles in the world. This has earned him the wrath of both Big Oil and the Big three Automakers. He fears, and rightly so, that some near fatal "accidents" on his part have not been accidents at all. 20) Shane McWilliams; not a popular man but he has made a fortune with internet pornography and adult DVD & Video Sales. He started the "Superhuman Parody" genre and has been raking it in ever since. BTW, Shane McWilliams is not his real name. He may or may not be something more sinister than he appears. How about you guys?
  4. GM: Okay, you are hurtling at 32xFTL towards Malva, you have been unable to turn the ship around. What do you do? Ace( My brother's Character): I teleport to the outside of the ship. GM: You what? Ace: We've only been flying for about 25 minutes I'll get myself home. I don't need to breath. GM: Do you realize what is out there? You are going 32x Light speed at that velocity a dust mote would put a hole in you, do you know how many dust motes there are in space? Me: At least six. GM: (pause). Yes Chad, at least six, go to your room.
  5. Most likely? Dead ones...
  6. I'd allow it. I am pretty sure my pug thinks I am his DNPC
  7. I had toyed with the idea of introducing a group of heroes from the future encountered my team they were made up of the children or relatives of Cheshire Cat, Armadillo, Howler, Ogre, Mindlock, and Pulsar. They called themselves the Scions of Shadows as an inside joke but generally left off the "of Shadows". The heroes: Pathway (Cheshire Cat's Son; a martial artist with teleportation gates) Minerva (Ogre's formerly crippled little sister, given super strength and intelligence by Malachite (he owed a hero in the future and paid his debt helping out the young lass) Thorn (a clone of Mindlock who was created by (again) Malachite as a possible mate). Mental powers and martial arts Clamour: (Howler's son and pretty much ripped off from the V&V character of the same name) Pulsar's son who was a gun toting vigilante but secretly had vast resistance to energy attacks (50 rED) and lastly Armadillo II (actually it was Armadillo one but he had been de aged in an encounter with the Infinate man some time in the future and gave up his villainous career to win the heart of Minerva. The funny thing was, those same villains had formed a team (they were all hunteds of us (we didn't have classic enemies yet or it was easier just to use the one book) called the Outcasts. The encounter so shamed the villains ( I had always had a soft spot for them as Champions 3rd edition had origins for them to be used as heroes and I liked that), that they turned themselves in, served their time and started on the long road towards true heroism.
  8. GM: Crenshaw (Nasty villain, a Vampire Silver Avenger...don't ask me how, just play along) is standing infront of the elevator. Its doors' open revealing the corpses of the stationed guards. He is looking intently at you. Vanguard(Me): Golden Avenger! Thank God you're here! Crenshaw (Turning to look back): What!?! Now you sho up you- Me: I shove him in the elevator, close the doors, weld them with my heat vision and break the cables! GM: I hate you. I really Hate you.
  9. I had one of my own too, called hmmm, I can't remember his name from work. He had bought his strenght twice with the extra as only to be used for Casual Strength. So he got his 75 str as Casual Strength, thats how he was able to smash things and still fight. I think his name was Onslaught, but I might have changed it after marvel brought one out. I was wondering where the Superman clone was, myself.
  10. Seconded. SHe reminds me of my wife. Like I told Storn, I saw her as a "supergirl" type with gravity based powers and some tech knowledge (the Visor for senses and communications, the guantlets to help her focus her powers to leave the realm of "personal Gravatic Enhancement")
  11. The "Wonder Woman" role in my Larger-than-Life-superteam-filled-with-good -and-bad-elements-and-fairly-tightly-based -on-the-JLA Superteam is filled by the product of Aphrodite's affair with Ares.
  12. Similarly he could be a Battalion, Regiment, etc.
  13. Well, I had a "Rock Universe" where all the characters were named after song titles, so: Blue Collar Man
  14. More very impressive artwork there, Storn. I really like how they appear to be a regular family., you really brought out the humanity in the heroes.
  15. I can ad a me too here as well. Nato, Storn, and all involved, good show!
  16. I gotta love the DNPC, man. He looks pretty cool. About what i would expect for a sorcerer supreme.
  17. Chango looks tres cool. Actually, he strikes me as a "master" version of Street Fighter II Turbo's Dee Jay.
  18. Then, due to a labeling mix up he adds it to Foxbat's DNA. Chaos insues.
  19. I like the new blood for the most part. I love Black Paladin and the idea of him trying to create a dark order of knights to help with his dreams of conquest always appealed to me. Even if I got the idea from the drek that is Europan Enemeis. I have also used Talisman as his new paramour.
  20. Okay, here's one of my favorite quirks from the series lately, DF: Cruelist Eyes in the world. easily concealable, causes extreme reaction 15; for Ayane the fighter babe.
  21. I have the daughter of Destroyer written up for a campaign. She is a powered armor hero. Her armor appears masculine. Its basically an adaptation of a character a friend of mine made up back in highschool. The picture he used was Destroyers from Day of the Destroyer so I made the child origin.
