  1. Re: Typical abilities of the Common Pig? "You're always gonna have problems lifting a body in one piece. Apparently the best thing to do is cut up a corpse into six pieces and pile it all together." "Would someone mind telling me, who are you?" " And when you got your six pieces, you gotta get rid of them, because it's no good leaving it in the deep freeze for your mum to discover, now is it? Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to pigs. You got to starve the pigs for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the piggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you don't want to go sievin' through pig shit, now do you? They will go through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, 'as greedy as a pig'. "
  2. Re: Susano's Song-Based DC NPCs Cool, I'll have to check that out. I had a NPC/Part time GMPC show up late in my Star Hero campaign code named "Fenris" who was directly based on the song as well. He served as sort of mentor role/infodump to the main PC psi character. I wish I still had the write up to compare the two. I do recall that if he was juiced to eyeballs with enhancement drugs (that would wreak havoc on his already frail CNS) and suited up into a CE-equipped battlesuit (Cerebral Enhancement) he could kick epic amounts of hindquarters
  3. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Satyros -Faun Headliner for FaerieCon 2009 "Bad Faeries" Night Pretty nifty sort of Celtic folk medieval earth semi-trance stuff with very fast beats
  4. Re: Mottos for use in games Buaidh No Bas You, Sir, are a MacDougal
  5. Re: Cool Guns for your Games I've often wondered if you could use a cryo-gas cooled mould to cast bullets out of Mercury, perhaps with arsenic in suspension... You might need a carbon fiber (or nano-fiber) matrix to stabilize the ice for firing pressures, ala pikrete
  6. Re: Cool Guns for your Games Yeah, it was a real forehead smacker for me when I first heard about them, too. Bloody brilliantly simple idea.
  7. Re: Mottos for use in games Often outnumbered, NEVER outgunned!
  8. Re: Mottos for use in games "There is no 'overkill.' There is only 'open fire' and 'time to reload.' "
  9. Re: Mottos for use in games Indeed I had those two on buttons on my tool bag for a decade.
  10. Re: Mottos for use in games "We the Unwilling, led by the Unknowing, are doing the Impossible for the Ungrateful" "First we dig 'em, then we die in 'em"
  11. Re: Cool Guns for your Games You know, as I was reading this I suddenly flashed back to eating a quail my Great Uncle took with a "spice load" 12 gauge shell. They were like birdshot made of compressed spices so you could just go ahead and cook them in place. Tasty. Anyway, it suddenly dawned on me that something similar might be the most reliable way to do a current tech "drug bullet", tho probably as soluble salts rather than ice. Sort of the rock salt approach writ large.
  12. Re: Vehicle: Post-Apocalyptic Combat Car So apparently, seeing that second pic, I was wrong about the I-Beam being the "ram plate". In which case I'd drop the Stretching, because, lets face it, the cannon barrel sticks out further than aforementioned ram plate...
  13. Re: Vehicle: Post-Apocalyptic Combat Car Discovery Channel has a show premiering this upcoming Monday called Weaponizers that should provide more ready made images...
  14. Re: Costumed Crimefighters Collective hmmm... Interesting...
  15. Re: Byronic Hero I'd play. I'm damn near a Byronic Hero myself anyway

  20. Re: Magic system wanted -- historical magic I'm a Bay Area, California native, which means the San Jose Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum and Planetarium (and Research Library, which is FAR cooler but much less publicized) has always been a part of my life. I remember going there for birthday parties when I was, like, 8... because Crypts and Mummies are COOL.
  21. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? La Resistance -South Park The Movie Soundtrack
  22. Re: Order of the Stick You know... I was over the whole Chuck Norris meme before it started, but applied to O Chul? Brilliant, and repped!
  23. Re: Cool Guns for your Games mostly Priss, from this admittedly oddly anecdotal chain of reasoning... I know a lot of the RTas "Second wavers" who contributed to & playtested the original cyberpunk. They were among the Hero gamers at my school, a year or two ahead of me, who all headed to UC Santa Cruz, back when R Taslorian was all about Mekton and Arasaka Industries was one of the big bad corporations in our pre-1st edition Star Hero "Space Game" campaign. Yep, you heard it. Arisaka came from a HERO campaign. Anyway, those guys were ALLL about the Anime' influences for the Rockers
