HeroGM got a reaction from Tjack in Artwork
10% - He's functioning without an editor to draw him in on some of his ideas. I loved his Mirror Universe X-Men, even Lilandra being corrupted by the Phoenix. Kitty trying to "drown" the one girl seemed a little out of character for her, no matter how mad she got. I know he's writing her as being 14-15 though so yeah I can get she was a bit upset at being teased like that. Right now he's exploring his version of Wolverine's origin. No matter how much you like a writer/artist you'll always find something to disagree with or nitpick. Would I suggest someone going to read the 25+ issues he's come out with? Yes, wholeheartedly.
Own the Batman - Captain America book along with all 3 of the Generations series. Not a big fan of the 3rd simply because of the extreme time jumps (100 years), though I enjoyed the overall story. Byrne has said that he wanted to have a "blonde ex-soldier" help train Bruce Jr. and that be a nod to Steve and show that it was in the same universe.
One thing I always love is the silver/bronze-age style - perfect for a good Four-Color Champion's game.

Well now you tripped the “curious landmine”. What’s the 10% you didn’t care for? Not as an argument, just a fun discussion.
BTW...Did you ever check out Byrne’s Batman/Captain America book? It’s set in W.W.II and the Joker and the Red Skull have joined forces. Very Neat-O!! A lot like Generations, very much the same mind set.

He's played Champions yes, I've commented a few times about him doing a cover for Dark Champions and from his replies I'd say he's gamed at least D&D. Zircher of course did Hero stuff along with Storn. And of course Albert D. is gone (RIP 😭) and he was working for comicraft as a letterer for awhile. Oh and Panosian of course worked at FGU along with Willingham (who did TSR). Phil Foglio from what I've seen still games and does comics.
I put some $$ down for Anybodies, not to turn this into an ad.

The Anybodies mentioned earlier. My understanding is they were all normal people until one character "powered" them similar to how they did it in Stormwatch.

That can work, the thing is though is if you start draining one powers the rest should decrease as well. That's why I suggested linked, or in pre-6th Element Control.

HeroGM got a reaction from Scott Ruggels in 6E1 POD
The cousins that have nothing. To do with me have my 6ed books, and it was agreed I'd deal a bit better with paper copies at the moment then play PDFs and get distracted with the net.

HeroGM reacted to Scott Ruggels in Top Secret [TSR]
Apparently Top Secret: New World Order has different mechanics than Top Secret Classic. Watched a YouTube review about it and it was fairly positive.

HeroGM got a reaction from Spence in What adventuring is there for the Ravenswood students?
About issue 4-5 (I think) they had a storyline where they went to the mall, met some normal kids and was then attacked by Sentinel's. Another was (16-17(?)) was them attending a Gala/Ball at the Hellfire Club and getting into it with their opposites (Emma Frost's The Hellions).
The stories it's based on is also FREE online @ https://ps238.nodwick.com/

see if you can find a copy of Firebirds ltd. Golden Age.

HeroGM got a reaction from DreadDomain in Semi-Major Mistake in Champions Complete
@DreadDomain
What I tend to do when I play is have my players use a copy of CC while I use 1 & 2. If there is an issue that's not in CC I use the 6e core to "overrule" or I'd there is something that is left out of CC (or fantasy hero complete) but in APG1/2 then I allow it. Oven even allowed stuff from Digital Hero - so I'm right there with you on it all.

HeroGM got a reaction from Psillias in Gamma World HERO Revisited
Find a decent copy of ADnD1 DMs Guide. It has a conversion for Gamma World (plus Boot Hill). Do a side trip for the fantasy players.

HeroGM got a reaction from Joe Walsh in Semi-Major Mistake in Champions Complete
IMHO they could do it as they did with 4 or 5 and save a lot of the tool kitting things for an advanced players.

HeroGM got a reaction from culhwch in Blambot Fonts
While mainly geared for comic books - Nate Pei kos over at Blambot.com has some wonderful fonts for use.
Some are pay fonts and some are freebies, you just need to go through the store and get them.

HeroGM got a reaction from Sketchpad in Hero Games 2021 Update
Going back to Champion's Legacy for a second. I'd do it like Strike Force where we see heroes and Villian's at the start and then a modern version along with their goals and what they've done.
A villian (or hero) may start out wanting one thing and figure out he's really wanting something else. Maybe he went good for awhile and is still there or gone back to his old ways. It's almost be interesting to see a Champion's:Generations book (after John Byrne's Superman/Batman) book that shows how heroes during the different ages are along with people who picked up their mantle later on.

HeroGM reacted to Sketchpad in Hero Games 2021 Update
I think I'd rather see a book called "Champions Legacy" that brought old characters back in an official format. Upgrade the backgrounds a bit, maybe have some new art and design. I realize that Tiger Paw Press does something similar, but I'd really like to see something in a more official capacity with a higher budget.

HeroGM got a reaction from Korgoth in Western Hero: Rough and Ready Roleplaying
Skullface - The Phantom Pain from Metal Gear Solid. Would make an interesting character (at least the look) for a Weird Western or even Pulp game.
