Re: What happened to the Champions? Since he had the ninja backstory, we always treated his martial arts as that, though I do agree. It would have been nicer if 4E Champions Universe (1992) has included at least one martial arts style from Ninja Hero (1990). The oversights (BBB & CU) were "corrected" when Watchers of the Dragon came out (1995) and Seeker was finally brought up to his full potential, IMHO.

Re: Just Picked Up Champions Worldwide Okay, finally finished reading the darn book. I must say that the heroes on the most part seemed bland and uninteresting, the villains however seemed powerful and mostly threatening, though some either fell in the 'ehh' catagory or just seemed like a space filler. Probably my other biggest gripe is the artwork (and lack thereof on a few!). Characters that stood out are Brigade (but it's probably Chad's fault), Taipan, and the Black Death (though probably more due to the potential Eurostar connection). I will probably end up comparing them, but for some reason, Li Chun the Destroyer seemed more impressive in Watchers of the Dragon than in Champions Worldwide. However, I must say I already have ideas for Taipan in one of my HeroCentral games. Sadly, after reading the book, I wished I had purchased Hidden Lands instead.

Re: CHAR: Wonder Woman Wow! Very nice write-up! The only thing I'd alter would be upping her COM to 30 (though really, how big of a difference from 26 is that?) and instead of giving her the 10 resitance flat out, I personally would buy it as levels of Combat Luck, OIF (Bracelets) and Restrainable. But that's me. Well, I definitely wouldn't have written her up nearly as well. You have several things I wouldn't have included, or as high up, which makes me glad that you made her, as this is a better version. Now, can you make her on 350 points?

Re: Champions "What Ifs" Actually, I was thinking progression instead of metagame fiat. A few years with Eurostar having a few countries. Then, everytime a new book is published (or maybe just one book a year), there are subtle updates that Eurostar now has new countries under its banner. No. If they were, they wouldn't have all the nice stuff they have and wouldn't be as organized. Also, they wouldn't have really done anything. UNITY would be a pipe dream. Sorry. I will until a moderator warns me. Steve doesn't have to like CLOWN, but that doesn't mean we have to dislike them. If Gravitar is a 'master villain' and Nighthawk is to be taken seriously, then pretty much any conversation can have CLOWN added.

Re: Character Name Help If that's what you want, that's fine, just by definition a Nisei is "a person of Japanese descent, born and educated in the U.S. or Canada" and means "second generation." By definition the father would be a nisei, the child would be American. Chill, man. Reread what you wrote; I'm merely asking questions about it. When you ask for help, and somebody wants clarification on what you're posting, instead of coming off half-cocked, you might want to be considerate of them.
