  1. Re: Favorite Sci-Fi Weapon I'll give another vote for the Pyrran Auto-Pistol and Power Holster from Harry Harrison's Death World Trilogy. For non man portable : The Bolo mounted Hellbore from Keith Laumer.
  2. Re: Millennium City walled or not Chicago is already trying this. They have a camera and sound detector keyed to pick up the sound of a gunshot on every block, and The mayor wants to put a camera in every bar at first then eventually in every business all tied into the police. Ostensibly for crime prevention, but they won't be used just for that.
  3. Re: WONDERFUL picture for Pulp Aircraft If you have one of the Microsoft Flight Sims there is a website that has free downloads of aricraft for it. http://www.flightsim.com You do have to log in and for the free downloads they limit you to 2 hours per day. And sometimes it is so busy that you can't get in for a bit, but they litterally have thousands of flyable aircraft.
  4. Re: Req: Civil War Firearms stats Don't forget the Remington pistol, and the Savage that you rotated the cylinder with a second trigger.
  5. Re: Vehicle: Gepanzerter Gehender Träger Läufer
  6. Re: High Plains Hero I would want to run the man in black: Paladin. "Have gun Will travel Wire Paladin San Fransisco"
  7. Re: Clever Future Weapons I came up with this for a Traveller game using magnetics to spin up the projectiles. The weapon was for use on space ships only and the muzzle velocity was .1 c.
  8. Re: Clever Future Weapons How about a Tressor aka Rattler. A tractor-pressor beam that changes direction of movement every .01 second. Or the Hellbore from the Bolo stories. A Fusion Plasma weapon using lasers to create a tunnel of vacuum for the plasma bolt to travel down and the bolt is traveling at .6 lightspeed
  9. Re: Bubble gum crises to hero That's the Mark 3 suit. The knuckle bombers are on the same hand as the cannon. The weapon on the other hand is called the knuckle guard. It is an electro-magnetic weapon that disrupts boomer circuits on impact rather than destroying them.
  10. Re: A little slang help please? Thanks! This will come in handy so that I can run the character right.
  11. In a Teen Champions game I'm in I'm running a teen from Scotland. Please could any of our gang who lives in Scotland give me a list of typical slang phrases from there?
  12. Re: Sci-fi swear words? Don't for get the chow line and prop wash while you're at it.
  13. Re: Fantasy Hero / Star Hero .... SpellJammer? I've been trying to do up the universe from Disney's 'Treasure Planet' in hero. But so far no luck in getting anywhere.
  14. Re: new spin on Justice League Very well done.
  15. Re: Need a Superhero HQ? - Try this one What can I say about this mansion that hasn't already been said? I like it!
  16. Re: Herophile Fantasy art And here's a Halfling Rogue I've used.

  19. Re: Herophile Fantasy art Here's a Mage/Cleric I've used. Opinions?
  20. Re: Looking for Firearm Resource And The Mauser also had a full auto version that had a 20 round magazine. (I'm not much of a gun geek am I?)
  21. Re: Anthropomorphic/Furry HERO Resources I have both Furry Pirates and Furry Outlaws which is set in the time of Robin Hood. Both from the same people.
  22. Re: A Modern League of Extroardinary Gentlemen Not goona happen. The writer has been fired by the copyright owner due to his attiude.
  23. Re: Another gun that makes even ME go "WHY?" I wouldn't buy any Kahr Arms weapons because I don't feel like supporting the Moonies. Kahr Arms and Auto Ordinance are both owned by The "Reverend" Sun Myung Moon.
  24. Re: Enterprise NC1701A vs. Imperial Star Destroyer All it would take is for the Enterprise to transport a half of a gram of anti-matter onto the bridge of the Star Destroyer and No more SD. And the SD depends more on armor than shields so it wouldn't be able to block the transport beam.
  25. Re: Codename: Kids Next Door Don't forget The Wonderful Children from Down the Lane's father. He seems to be behind almost all of the evil that the villians do.
