  7. I've looked at the discription of DR on page 143, and in the FAQs, but i can't seem to find a solution to this one problem. In the blurb it says DR costs END. But in the paragraph below it, it says it costs no END to use. What does that mean?
  8. Re: How would you simulate this? first off, i've failed a 12- DFC roll at most inappropreat moments, it sucks. Also you forget DFC leaves you prone, so you have to spend a 1/2 phase to get up. Finally, they will fail their dex roll if you add in some "Luck useable as attack: only for failing dex rolls for DFC (-2)" That one hurts. I love seeing a players eyes wince as his 11 turns into a 14 and he gets beaten on.

  10. Re: Saving Throws? I agree, though i saw a nifty character with an "evasion clone" by Onxyclaw that was DR 50% activation role = dex roll
  11. Re: Media Darling I've been a feutle lord for 5 pts, and that was a bit more than this, because i got to control finances and such for the 2nd largest kingdom in the land. I saw my GM once charge 3pts for being atourny General and i think this is about that useful

Psycholoical Disads are the way (IMHO) to represent "not normal" intelligence that still could have high rolls and skills. Like "Alien mentality" "animal mentality", i think it should be represented with "childlike mentality" which is bought off as they age

  14. Re: Saving Throws? saving throws are a *good* thing, so PCs must buy them. I suggest 75% DR mental with an activation roll based on their ego roll to prevent mental powers, one linked to dex for reflex saves etc...
  15. Re: Impossible to abuse / Absolute Balance challenge. 1. Life Support longevity 5 isn't abusive 2. Life Support Longevity with Useable simultaneously, Mega Scale and enough targets to cover the globe. Suddenly no one ages any more or at least dies from old age. Population booms, the world becomes over populated and humanity dies out due to lack of resources
