  1. Thanks. Actually, he's been making them force field belts that most members have come to rely on. He's got one custom made for almost all of them. I can't wait til they're done with the current plots so I can start the "Return of Muerte!" John
  2. Not just yours. My campaigns average DEX is 28 and Speed is 6. I have to make up almost all my villians myself. They trash any CKC villians. John
  3. (Looking from side to side in the hopes none of my players are listening.) My PCs found an old, scarred man in a villians HQ apparently in some sort of healing tank. Elsewhere in the base the PCs found some burned and melted armor the villians were examining. They rescued the guy, who has no memory. He now hangs out at their base and makes gadgets for them. They havn't really tried to find out who he is. But soon, they will find out nice old "sparky"(that's what they call him) is actually Professor Muerte. John
  4. Created. The process destroys most of the mind, to the point that they have trouble making their own decisions beyond "Who do I hit next?" John
  5. I am using some generic created superhuman thugs who have no memory and trouble with forming creative thoughts. As the write up goes right now they have a handfull of CSls with their powers and nothing else. Any help would be appreciated. John
  6. Can you make a Hand to Hand Attack a Damage Shield? If so, does the HTH attack -1/2 limitation still apply? It would seem like it is no longer a limitation, you can't block it('cause you just acted) and if it is offensive block would work anyways. John Spencer
  7. I think they are insane also. Your Anime collection got me into anime. Your write-ups for Anime characters are awesome, and always keep the spirit of the character right. Oh well, their loss. John Spencer
  8. Villians in Glen Burnie Why that'd be the Dreaded Games Workshop! John
  9. Yeah, I dug out the Hydra agents I don't use anymore and they are much bigger than spidey. They are probably 28-30mm. John Spencer
  10. The last game I played was based in the Baltimore/Washington Area. The current game I run is located in San Francisco. John Spencer
  11. No, I mean the fig is about 20mm. I'm looking at spidey(an average sized hero) and he is smaller than Warzone and GW figs. And look to be smaller than Superfigs. They could be 25mm but are not 30mm. John Spencer
  12. I prefer Extra Dimensional Movement usable against others to knock someone into next Tuesday. John Spencer
  13. They are about 20mm. For comparison Superfigs are 25mm and Games Workshp minis are 28mm. John Spencer
  14. Yep, I have a Utility that just needs a little work, and a Foxbat almost done. John Spencer
  15. Not a bad idea, but I wouldn't even suggest being able to put a multipower or VPP in there, that would be a tad abusive(IMHO). I like the idea of being able to put anything in there, not just abilities that cost end. I also like being able to put smaller powers in there. That is the biggest problem with an EC, all my players struggle to get the powers to the same point total, so they aren't wasting any points. John Spencer
  16. I've thought of changing Find Weakness so that the first time you success gives the target 2/3 of his defenses, then 1/2, then 1/3, then 1/4, then 1/5...etc. Any comments. John Spencer
  17. One of the players in my campaign got sick of his character and rolled up a new one with it. He got a very interesting and fairly balanced brick. He took it home did some minor tweaks and still plays him 6 months later. John Spencer
  18. I would suggest more non-combat skills. Maybe Drop your CON to 13(still good), I would drop Mtl. Grab fo Mtl. Throw, and I would drop Mtl. Dodge(for now, i'd buy it with xp if I thought I needed it). That frees up 8 pts for various KS, your a professor, you should buy scholar and many KS at 11- for 1 pt. Just my opinion, John Spencer
  19. Try a random character! Roll up one or two and that will(hopefully) get your brain kickin' and you can roll out some new idea. John Spencer
  20. The SAS minis are pretty good(and the GF is a huge Sandra Garrity fan). I'll have to pick those up. I wonder when hero will get the picture and start making some? John Spencer
  21. I was wondering if anyone else out there uses miniatures for their champions games, and if so, what kind. I use a mix of Warzone, Superfigs, and various Games Workshop figures. Also, what does everyone else use for maps? John Spencer
  22. Well, I don't have the book, but the pictures are great and the characters are solid. John Spencer
  23. I just gave my characters thier base, they are sponsored by a local businessman. Of course they have no control on who gets hired, what gets done to it, and I can take it away without them whining "I spent points on that!" John Spencer
  24. Lucky you, I immediatly hit the link and cried out in terror. Lesson: Read at least a couple of posts before hitting the link. John Spencer
  25. As I remember it, 4E had no actual rules to cover this, just options in the original UMA. Either 1)prorate your STR which would give you: 7 1/2d6 (3d6 plus 23STR) -or- 2)only add up to the base active points which would give you:4 1/2d6 (3d6 plus 9 STR) Or just ask your GM. I would say go with option one for 4E. I had a multipower martial artist who did that and it ended up being quite fair. John Spencer
