  1. Re: I need a trained parrot writeup now, that's what I'm talking about! A parrot would be a great sidekick for a Dark Champs hero.
  2. Re: Marvel's Best "Bricks" Thing was perhaps Stan Lee's greatest single accomplishment. Although JAck had a hand in his design, nowhere else does Stan's vernacular come through more clearly, and it resonates through time and space to every place and time he's been experienced.
  3. Re: [interest in an online game?] Avengers: Generation 3 still interested, btw
  4. Re: Learning Heroes - Basic Elements and Balance What country are you writing from, Johannes?
  5. Re: M&M pees in HERO's cheerios... The mods frown upon derailment. Is this thread technically derailable?
  6. Re: I need a trained parrot writeup Thank you for your assistance, all. I understand that we can't get specific here.
  7. Re: How to use the President I'm still awaiting all the rep from my earlier attempt at derailment.
  8. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Haha PDQ Bach... I'd always thought he was a creation of my departed pedophile boys choir director. Kind of fun to find out someone actually recorded something under that name.
  9. Re: Learning Curve? I played RPGs for about 8 years when I picked up a copy of the first printing of the BBB. Without anyone to teach me, it took me a good month just to be able to describe a decent character. 18 months, roughly, before I felt comfortable enough to run a game. Then again, I'm simply a chicken, and my brain is very tiny.
  10. Re: Ridiculous things in comics that you don't mind. Call it the Jessica Fletcher Syndrome- it moves the story along.
  11. Re: [interest in an online game?] Avengers: Generation 3 Maybe their DEMON arrows... Black Vulcan didn't need no quivver. Or pants.
  12. Re: I need a trained parrot writeup Yeah, I just want it to go peck, or deliver a written message in its beak and stuff. Mainly it's just supposed to be an annoyance in combat- maybe able to keep one or two normals at bay. Well-trained, fearless, but otherwise normal.
  13. Re: M&M pees in HERO's cheerios... See, I'm not all that gay, but it might be tempting.
  14. Re: Answers & Questions Q: Hey, Senator Kennedy, how many drinks is that this morning? A: It's the tallest building I could find.
  15. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Home in the Sky by Cat Stevens Weird pandora.com
  16. Re: I need a trained parrot writeup It occured to me what an ironic request I have made relatively quickly after I'd made it. But it stands! I need a little help. I have no idea how smart, fast, strong, or tough a parrot is.
  17. Without treading too heavily on published source material which I don't own... can someone write me up a trained parrot write-up? One that is trained to fight crime, but is basically a normal parrot.
  18. Re: Gravity is gone? Commissioner Gordon: "Quick, Caped Crusader! The Joker's planted a time bomb under Gotham City's main nuclear plant!" Batman: "How long have we got?" Gordon: "Twenty years! God help us!" Batman: "Say again?" Gordon: "We have our best bomb squad men there right now. They say we've only got 20 years to disable the bomb!" Batman: "..." Batman: "I'm going back to bed."
  19. Re: Heroic level characteristics ramble Bigger stats are just plain more fun, man.
  20. Re: M&M pees in HERO's cheerios... Cheerios get peed in more often than you'd think. I surely hope you would no longer make fun of such a serious problem.
  21. Re: Ridiculous things in comics that you don't mind. Actually, this bugs me a lot. I want them costumes to fall off more, dammit.
  22. Re: Life Support: How much is "Intense"? I think that, if the environment is itself inflicting Killing dice on a character, then LS is not enough. Otherwise, it should be good. Intense Cold LS should protect a character from the rigors of space IMO.
  23. Re: [interest in an online game?] Avengers: Generation 3 May I suggest moving it to New England? Perfect site in Warwick, RI- an old disused amuselment park called Rocky Point. Great ocean access and not too far away by air from New York. Coincidentally, the real-world location of the original JLA base.
