  1. Re: Sersi for HERO Although, I'm so thrilled with this particular disad: that I'll be stenciling it into FRED where it richly belongs.
  2. Re: Sersi for HERO Thank you all, you're very helpfuul (as I knew you'd be). It occurs to me what I really want to do is model a "generic" Eternal, as a template for new Eternals in general. With that research I've done plus what you all have helped me with, I ought to be able to do that.
  3. Re: Sersi for HERO Yeah, I collected the Avengers on and off for years, and never once saw her use her powers in a specific, Sersi-like way, so I didn't have any clue about that. Even the Wiki page on her was pretty vague.
  4. Can anyone point me to a link of a write-up of Marvel's Eternal Sersi? re-reading some back issues and I'm interested in knowing exactly how her powers differ from a base Eternal powerset and how.

  6. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? My wife. Chirping.
  7. Re: Amerca's Best Comics, Tom Strong, Promethea, Etc There is no one better at turning the medium of mainstream comics on its ear than Alan Moore. If you read just one writer, ever, ever, it had better be him. Although not Silver Agey in the same way, check out Top 10. NYPD Blue meets the Legion of Super-Heroes, with great art to boot.
  8. Re: Working Precognition This last is your best one yet. How do you decide how many skill levels to grant?
  9. Re: Creating the Silver Age Team Not boring at all. Wish I had something good to add.
  10. Re: Your PC's might be underpowered if... ...if you were a teammate of Bloodwynd in the Justice League.
  11. Re: A Thread for Random Musings Why is it that the sweetest young women have the ****tiest taste in men?
  12. Re: Two-Headed Man? Yep, this dude would be terrifically creepy to come across in real life, you killjoy!
  13. Re: Fixing Find Weakness I see nothing wrong with it. 17- roll with all attacks costs 60 points, and costs half a phase, and takes into account range penalties. Strong, but no stronger than 60 points of another strong power.
  14. Re: CHAR: Iron Man That's a Multiform with a (-1/2) Only Changes In Lab
  15. Re: House Rule: Banning Multipowers & Elemental Controls? Actually, even among the characters you name, few of them really demand a power framework- and the GM hasn't yet banned VPPs, has he? Or did I miss that one? Many of those characters can be built with a limited VPP more efficiently than with an EC or Multipower- and the rest can be built fairly well with a VPP or in certain cases, without a framework entirely. Again though, without power frameworks, you're looking at very straightforward characters, many of whom will be straight-up hand to handers or superskill chars.
  16. Re: Dimension Brainstorming: The Dimension Of Lost Stuff a.k.a. The Hozone
  17. Re: Two-Headed Man? Thank you to both, Austin and Freaky. I'd also ideally want this guy to be able to perform two simple actions simultaneously, so carry on two conversations, or whatever. How should I build this?
  18. Re: Two-Headed Man? That's a great question! I think this character would be affected differently by mental powers, since either one of the brains can control the body. But I don't know what the remifications are. I wonder if I should scrap the Duplication idea and build the second head as an advanced A.I.?
  19. Re: Two-Headed Man? Gets him his double attacks, double PER rolls, etc. Nice. Some sort of Mind Link and lots of Teamwork too.
  20. Re: Your PCs might be overpowered if... If your heroes have Swinging, Megascaled, they might be overpowered. Because that's just stupid.
  21. Re: Two-Headed Man? How about duplication, full feedback (-1), Must Occupy Same Hex (-1)? Is this about right? Plus of course 50% all rDR to simulate that they ahve one body.
  22. Re: Two-Headed Man? Thanks, that's a swell idea.
  23. Re: Two-Headed Man? I suppose the heads would treat one another like siblings. That having been said, it seems I'm thinking about it being two seperate people in the same body.
