You know... now that you bring this up, honestly I think there's a market for a villain lair pdf at least. Some classics (the one under the city in the abandoned subway lines - and yes, they exist in NYC - the volcano, the orbital base, the skyscraper businessman, the castle, the embassy-dwelling foreign dignitary, etc. Plus you could have some really wild ones that aren't typical, and then some scenario ideas for each base. Nothing too big or expensive, but something that makes it quick and easy for GM's to just drop into their game.

Huh, I was pretty disappointed with that one. I did like small bits but overall it felt kind of forced to be a story around the maguffin rather than the characters.

I agree, get the origin over with fast as a quick flashback, or just don't even bother. She just has powers. Who cares why or how? Lets just get to the story. Maybe she'll explain later, but do we really need to know? Nope. And I doubt anyone really cares.

Yeah that's what I used for my Island Fish monster, swallowing by putting people into another dimension (Leviathan tummy). Its a bit of a kludge but it works well for the effect.

Fair or not, men age better than women do in terms of Hollywood looks. According to women I know, many men get better looking as they age. This is not so about women except in very rare instances. That's just the nature of a visual medium.

Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes was a terrific reboot of the Avengers storyline while being faithful to the comics and having a wonderful feel to it. Instead the powers that be at Marvel have their "ultimate" universe they prefer above all things and that dumb cartoon got in the way, so cancel it and replace it with crap! But the crap fits their preferred storyline, even if its worse!

In her case I hope they come up with something totally new because her backstory is not very good

She was very strange at first. She would pass out and then Ms Marvel would 'show up' and it wasn't exactly clear for certain that she was the hero. She had some strange psychoses as well, I thought it wasn't a very well considered character, particularly for their first really major female star.

In any case, this present conflict makes for interesting fodder for Superheroing. Which is more on topic, eh?

This is one of those things that makes sense it should happen, (and might show up once in a comic for a particular story, but never again) but ought not in a game. Because you're basically punishing a character for doing the right thing and making their superhero life suck.

The reason they go young for franchise parts is that it takes years between films, and years aren't kind on actresses particularly in their 30s.

Nobody is making any money off this, its going to be put out for free, for fans to learn the Hero system with.

Yeah Nightwing should be able to tool over pretty much any hand to hand guy in the DC universe except maybe Batman. He is really, really really good and has been taught by the best. I suspect those writers are putting their character up against Nightwing as a comparison, see he can beat this guy! Don't even get me started on Damien.

Well, if you're running a DC campaign, then, yes.
