  1. So I can make a character in Hero Designer and import it to roll20?
  2. If you enable time stamps people could use the VTT for dice rolls so the GM can see them (if he cares). But the ability to have multiple threads in your own private forum means each scene could be its own Scene and you could number them. I play a lot of PBP on Savagerifts.com and you really only need private forums and a dice roller for PBP. The ability to link maps players can explore would just make it so much easier.
  3. Bummer. This is still the only software for Fuzion, and I used this for 5e characters before Hero Designer came out.
  4. I imagine to get the same thing from normal attacks what about not rolling the dice of damage. But instead use Hit locations and the Killing attack multiplier for every die. For example on a head shot that 12d6 blast inflicts 60 stun. If you play with critical hits then a critical hit would be 6 stun for each die. I think it is overly simple so it would not make everyone happy. But maybe it could be a starting point. Example Critical Hit = dice x6 stun, Body x2 (do not roll hit location) 3-5 Head = dice x5 Stun, Body x2 6 Hands = dice x1 Stun 7-8 Arms = dice x2 Stun 9 Shoulders = dice x3 Stun 10-11 Chest = dice x3 Stun 12 Stomach = dice x4, Body x1.5 13 Vitals = dice x4, Body x1.5 14 Thighs = dice x2 15-16 Legs = dice x2, Body x0.5 17-18 Feet = dice x1, Body x0.5
  5. This is so very cool. I recently came back to Hero after about 5-6 years away and planned on using roll20. Finding out someone is working on it is super awesome and I really look forward to when you work becomes available to consumers.
  6. This is fourth edition, pretty much the same idea. Though the text gets improved in the current editions.
  7. Maybe you are talking about "Segmented Movement" and "Non-Combat Movement", I recall what your saying to some extent.
  8. The stun lottery was something that bugged me for a while. I have been away from Hero since 2016, but at that time I felt the solution for my table was a flat *2 Stun Multiplier. No rolling needed. We don't do arms race at the table. I just veto them as a GM off the bat. So stacking advantages was/is not an issue.
  9. I don't understand. Why would you think I only let one player do it? Our creation process is open in our game. So if another player felt inspired to do the same they could. We have had an opportunity to talk about it since then and no one seemed to care or feel the need to imitate the approach. I guess that means I lucked out for players. PS: Unrelated to original post. But in the end only the tank even has an ability over 60 AP. Her strength is 75 and 0 endurance on the first 50 of that. Which let's her do 15d6 damage.
  10. I thought a character specifically not use multiple powers from a framework in a combined attack. I need to go reread that. As an aside the player has agreed to the 50 point limit so I am not concerned with him buying a 10d6 killing attack or something. But yes, being able to change defences from Shadow armor (13/20 r Def) to shadow form (Desolidification endurance only to activate) and change movement from combat teleport to non combat teleport is all a deliberate part of the build. It just went from 3 seperate one's to a single pool.
  11. I do not know why, but for some reason Damage Negation seems to slow things down whenever it comes up in my games.
  12. Strength only for encumbrance makes sense, but then wouldn't you want to make it persistent and possibly add invisible power effects?
  13. While not official I have built them as follows. Extra Dimensional Movement (a single pocket dimension, OAF bag -1, objects must through 1' wide opening -1/4)
  14. Yes, I am using a 60 AP limit. So anything over 60 costs double for the portion over 60. But I do not place that restraint on the pool, (or on VPP pools) only on the powers in it/them.
  15. Wow, this is amazing. It works really well and for rolling damage + Hit Location it saves so much time. Awesome creation, Thank you for sharing.
  16. If a player builds a character and wants to place his powers together in a multipower. But he has a giant 150 pool of darkness, then buys a large collection of 50 point powers knowing he may select any 3 as a time. Would that bother you as a fellow player in the game? As a GM this does not bother me at all, and playing with the numbers he could actually get a VPP for about 20 more points. But I am curious if this is generally socially considered bad.
  17. Update: So it turns out the output I was talking about shows up on my computer that has HD 3 installed on it as "Print to PDF" it is between the "set export template" option and the "export" option. In HD 6 the button is not an option. I could not find an equivalent export from the many I downloaded. Though I did find some others that where good. Luckily so far everything we made in HD 6 has been compatible with opening in HD3 and printing to PDF.
  18. So I selected a new export format for my HD based off of the Superman export that uses html and css. But now I lost where the default Hero system one was that looked like the PDF character sheet from the book. Anyone here know what the name of that export was? That way I can go find it in my computer or redownload it if I wrote over it.
  19. Some summoners are just terrible, sending you off to die or refusing to let you haunt.
  20. This link is no longer working. Any chance a company person is still active who could fix it?
  21. I could have sworn I have seen this limitation. But I am trying and not finding it now. Am I imagining it, or was there a modifier like this is in the books and I am just missing it? PS: The specific example is: I am making a character that summons four 200 point minions. His summon has the limitation that when one of his Wisps dies he takes damage. As a note, it also has a linked Mind Link that is triggered as soon as he summons his Wisps, linking his minds to theirs.
  22. Hum, I thought there was some restriction like that. But looking through the book, I could not find it. I am generally not a fan of Special Powers (like skills) in Frameworks. I know as a GM I can allow it. But I am inclined not to. Perhaps another was would be just to have him spend the 60 points for the 3 point level in all those skills and just retrap it. Adding the "Concentration and Costs Endurance" to those skills could reduce their cost.
