  1. I am the GM, so I am looking for a generally accepted value on this. To me it feels like a +1/2 modifier. But I wanted to think on it and get the feedback of others with more experience than myself.
  2. So reading rules as written Multiform cannot be used to turn into a vehicle, automaton or other character type. However when a general rule does not work advantages can be used to price in the rite option. I want to make a character who in his natural state is a 12' tall robot. He then turns into a sport compact car (like Transformers). What is a good/reasonable value for being allowed to change character type with Multiform? Considering I would want to be consistant. For example if I want a Wizard who can turn into a Clay Golem, I would use the same modifier value. What do you all think is reasonable? I know it has to have been considered because transformers is such a popular IP.
  3. Worked perfectly and made me realize I was trying to use your importer with the official product. So the import issue was created by me.
  4. I see I am not the first person to run across this. It is frustrating because I purchased the products and got started on roll20, only to find out I need to manually enter characters. I will be following here hoping to get updates if they fix it. Is the sheet you use the one with the Hero Theme colors? Can that one be populated by exporting from Hero Designer somehow? My group has been spoiled by D&D and Savage Worlds, so we like things that can be easily loaded.
  5. Thanks all, this is what I needed. I was trying to figure out if it was a free attack after a Block, or if it happens on the characters next phase.
  6. I would love to see a feature to save and name/rename the random characters.
  7. Anyone know where this is listed in the books? A player to it, but I have no idea what rules it uses.
  8. Can we update a character by erasing the old JSON and pasting a new JSON in the GM notes, or will we need to create a whole new sheet? PS: Any chance of the 6E Bestiary getting released as a roll20 product for consumers?
  9. Nice, very much looking forward to it. Will it work like D&D and Savage Worlds, or will I need the API?
  10. What is the targeted cost for the consumer on this project?
  11. I think I have seen it presented as follows in previous attempts. KS: Everything 30- (cost endurance -1/2, gestures -1/4, incantations -1/4 Active points 31, real cost 15)
  12. Thank you, that answers my question.
  13. I know HD only works on full operating systems. But I was not sure if Surface Go counts as a full system or not. We were looking at them and it seems they are not actually using Windows 11. Has anyone tried it and know if Java runs on one? I would hate to buy it and find out it is useless.
  14. I am not sure I follow the logic that begins with my comment and ends at your conclusion... On another note, I see two workable options for reactive adjustment that could speed things up. 1) Take the approach of ignoring the highest dice then the lowest dice alternating back-and-forth until you remove the appropriate damage classes. 2) Remove the standard effect from damage.
  15. I found while powerful in conjunction with other defense types. The slow down in play time is not worth it. As soon as you start using it the players go from using the tools they are used to, to suddenly having to figure out how much of that 8d6 heavily modified attack is negated by 6dc. Then rounding is 3.5 dice treated as 3 dice or 4 dice less...
  16. I retained my copy of HD3. It still works for most characters. Some characters do cause flow issues, or slight miss alignments. EDIT: The print to pdf that created the perfect character sheets was not under file. it was under "Current Character"
  17. I cannot answer your question. But I am totally jealous.
  18. Want there a PDF were Steven S Long broke them out? I thought there was also one with Talents done the same way.
  19. Perhaps you could use autofire or boostable charges to represent what you want?
  20. PS: Also spend the time to look at the templates for changing the monsters. Want a dragon made of stone? Add Elemental earth template.
  21. Hero System 6e Bestiary. It gives you an amazing sense of scale and understanding of the system. Just by looking at all the monsters in there and inspiration across so many genres
  22. I know it would. This was the effect desired for when Hugh Neilson asked how to make normal damage more volitile. (See bellow/above)
  23. Nice, this makes so many things possible. I am bringing friends into Hero and was thinking we would not have a good way of getting all my bad guys in there. Thank you very much for this video.
  24. Cool, Did they also have the core books? That way you can get to gaming.
