Me (holding a rake, dumping leaves into a bag)
My wife (pulls into driveway and rolls down car window):  Are you raking leaves?
Me:  No.  I'm building a pool.

(My only regret is that I didn't think until afterward that I should have said, "Here's your sign.")

OH definitely, but as we can't prove it yet to the folks with power... frustration abounds.
She's also never been a particularly nice woman on top of it.

I'm sorry, Logan. Sucks when two wonderful animals can't get along. Don't be too hard on Dex. I've been told Cats socialize best at younger ages like kittens and up. With the exceptions of Lions, most felines are not exactly pack animals.

The Music Man (1962) - A Conman in the early part of the 20th Century finds himself dropping off a small town in Iowa. His mission? To inform folks of the terrible trouble they're in and convince them the only way out is a band for the youth with himself as their musical professor. Of course, as he "Don't know one note of music from the other" it's going to take some fanciful foot work to pull off this scam but his biggest threat is the Librarian Lady who teaches Piano. With colorful characters, scenery chewing done right, and , of course, music, it's a classic for a reason.

Two professional con artists join forces to con a mob boss after he has killed the mentor of one who is also the old friend of the other. They set up a complicated con which involves a lot of other con men who want to get even with the mob boss. This film stars Robert Redford and Paul Newman and won best film at the Oscars. The tune The Entertainer by Scott Joplin is one of the best known pieces in the film and is often in Britain used in Snooker programmes.

The Dead are stealing our Jobs could be an actual concern for actors of today. I'm also not sure I'd feel about what this does to the artform, if I may use that term without being pretentious. Instead of a vast array of possible moments, they're going to 'cut and paste' the same expressions, slivers of the same performances, and use them again and again? Even with actors who had a large numbers of movies under their belt, wouldn't you eventually run out and risk noticeable repetition?

and wouldn't that get annoying after awhile?

    Die Hard 1988
One of the great modern Christmas films despite what some people claim. But it ain't Christmas until Nakatomi Plaza blows up. A police officer from New York jets into Los Angeles to see his estranged wife and his kids over the Christmas holiday. Instead he finds himself trapped in the mostly completed building as a group of terrorists take the place over. This film gleefully skewers the ethics of some members of the media and law enforcement bureaucracy which the terrorists play with. Alan Rickman has a great deal of fun as Hans Gruber the terrorist leader while the film established Bruce Willis as a star. The fact that Bruce is playing a cop enables him to pick up on clues and stay ahead of the bad guys. And to those who say it ain't a Christmas movie consider the fact that husband and wife are reunited at the end in time for holiday.

A new movie about Vietnam is in production starring James Dean. There's just one catch -- he's been dead for sixty years. So the producers, with the cooperation of his estate, is creating a CGI version of the cinema icon to play the role in the film alongside human actors.

Needless to day, actual actors who are still alive are furious. People like Chris Evans, Elijah Wood, and Robin Williams' daughter Zelda have told twitter they are extremely concerned about resurrecting dead actors when there are innumerable living ones available. (Zelda has special cause to be worried, because her father was such a unique star that if it were possible to use his image many producers would be sorely tempted to do so.)

Of course, actors like John Wayne have been digitally inserted into commercials for some time. It was just as controversial then. And dialogue and photos of Laurence Olivier from early in his career were used to represent Dr. Totenkopf the villain of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, although no attempt was made to recreate Olivier in the groundbreaking CGI-heavy film.

I'm with the actors on this one. This possibility opens a can of worms that could have bad results for a lot of people on the creative end of Hollywood.

I think one of the things that has made Marvel so good is recognizing genre's within genre's and, despite their flaws, the characters are heroes, willing to sacrifice themselves and fight the good fight just because it needs to be fought. Sometimes even on opposite sides (Tony and Steve) or trying to play the middle (Widow and Hawkeye). As has been mentioned, one of the things I thought was much better about the MCU civil war over the original comics one is that you could actually recognize why each side did what they did.

"The liberum veto (Latin for "(I) freely oppose") was a parliamentary device in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. It was a form of unanimity voting rule that allowed any member of the Sejm (legislature) to force an immediate end to the current session and to nullify any legislation that had already been passed at the session by shouting, Sisto activitatem! (Latin: "I stop the activity!") or Nie pozwalam! (Polish: "I do not allow!"). The rule was in place from the mid-17th century to the late 18th century in the Sejm's parliamentary deliberations. It was based on the premise that since all Polish noblemen were equal, every measure that came before the Sejm had to be passed unanimously. The liberum veto was a key part of the political system of the Commonwealth, strengthening democratic elements and checking royal power and went against the European-wide trend of having a strong executive (absolute monarchy).
Many historians hold that the liberum veto was a major cause of the deterioration of the Commonwealth political system, particularly in the 18th century, when foreign powers bribed Sejm members to paralyze its proceedings, and the Commonwealth's eventual destruction in the partitions of Poland and foreign occupation, dominance and manipulation of Poland for the next 200 years or so. Piotr Stefan Wandycz wrote that the "liberum veto had become the sinister symbol of old Polish anarchy". In the period of 1573–1763, about 150 sejms were held, about a third failing to pass any legislation, mostly because of the liberum veto. The expression Polish parliament in many European languages originated from the apparent paralysis."

Ironically, the situation got so bad that the last King of Poland whose election was secured by Russian money ran on a platform of getting rid of the liberum veto. But then Russia changed its mind and got rid of Poland, instead.

    Good times.
