  1. Shard - Mystic/Mage and Metamorph. An former member of The Trimegistus Council. Assigned to clean up the shattered remains of the Elemental Gems after they were destroyed in Vibora Bay. As part of his thesis on Mystical Artifacts he Enchanted the Shards of the Elemental Gem into his Soul Gem (Grant Astral Form) and Bound powerful Elemental into them. Granting him Air, Earth, Fire, and Water Elemental Hybrid Forms. Later adding the shard of the Bloodmoon Stone and adding a Werewolf Form. Never played, but one my favourite concepts.
  2. Cougar - martial artist, potential team leader, and celebrity superhero. Revised through various editions and campaigns. Social Engineer and close combat specialist. I rarely got to play him for more an 8 or 9 sessions, but always fun. Riot, brick dupicator, and detective. Almost became a luchadore.

  11. Player backgrounds create plot hooks for me. A campaign I was running was to focus on VIPER but, the PC's prefered to chase after VOICE of Doom instead. Campaign City was Vancouver, but the PC's refused to leave New Orleans after a visit. Character interactions with Supervillains lead to my group leaving UNTIL Team Unity expansion team and going Rogue. As in Vigilante style Superheroes. PC actions such as destroying a dimensional/time travelling foci threw them into the time stream. Landing briefly in alternate timelines where the PC's disappeared or altered the timeline by trying to prevent events like Dr. Destroyer faking suicide and laying waste to Detroit and giving rise to Millennium City. Many of the fallen where still alive on the new timeline. Two PC's retired their characters. Upon returning to their home timeline they vanished and even there teammates soon forgot them. QM
  12. Greetings Herophiles, how to lure players into your campaign? Some Campaign Settings like Shadowrun seem to not need a lure so much as availability. What lures Players in your campaigns? QM
