    My disdain for He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is, of course, well documented. All told, I can't help but feel like the Colts dodged a bullet there. Sure, it sucks for the team short-term, and the embarrassment is going to sting for a while, but the last thing the Colts need is a coach who will do to that franchise what he did to Denver.

    I think I agree with you. The fact that either of those disputed catches required detailed review is proof that the rules are broken. In determining whether a catch is a catch or not, the first test that should be applied is the Potter Stewart test.

    The officiating crew was decidedly hands-off in this game. I saw a lot of plays that could reasonably have been called defensive (or offensive) pass interference and holding, among others.

    Man, what a Super Bowl! At halftime, I thought it was going to be one of these nights. Both Brady and Foles were slinging the ball like a desperado. Philadelphia was living life in the fast lane, but New England managed to take it to the limit. But when the final pass fell incomplete, the Patriots knew their chance of victory was already gone. New England fans will be feeling heartache tonight, but after almost sixty years, Philly fans will have a peaceful, easy feeling. In either case, a tequila sunrise probably awaits in the morning. Congratulations, Philadelphia!
