In the far-future setting of my "Magozoic" campaign, Pluto and the rest of the Kuiper Belt Objects are collectively called the Palisade of Night. Mythically, the boundary between the sane and sunlit realm of mortals and the unknowable horrors of the Far Realms. The Palisade has its own spiritual realm in the mystical cosmology, and its own gods.

Dying to own the libs. 

I prefer Sweet Baby Ray’s instead of ketchup most of the time.  It’s less “dump in a pound of sugar” sweet than most other sauces.

Summary: Terrorists have taken over Midtown High...and they're about to receive a lesson they will never forget. A group of boys & girls decide to take a stand when terrorists seize control of their science school. We can be superheroes, just for one day. 
 
Plot: Darkseid and a band of goons have taken over the local high school looking for student T'Challa who was supposedly, evacuated the day before because his father, the king of Wakanda, is holding Darkseid's dad for trial as an international terrorist. The school principal, Victor Von Doom, is sympathetic to Darkseid and has allowed control over the school. The students, given covert assistance by varsity coach Rogers & science teacher Parker decide they need to take back the school before it is too late. Thus begins 'The Siege at Midtown High'

Okay, pretzels I get, but my question is this: what's the deal with using pretzel-like bread for burgers and sandwiches?  Depending on how it's baked, it ends up being either too crispy or chewy for my taste. Frankly, a burger on a pretzel bun is almost more trouble than it's worth to eat.

One of Dr. Richards experiments goes horribly wrong (thanks, Deadpool!) and accidentally sends the students hurtling through time! They return unscathed after doing untold damage to the timestream. But Principal Lex wants to know what they saw in the future. Unwilling to speak on the subject, he puts them all in detention for a full Saturday.

"And the student rumored to be a kinslayer? Will you defend that?" The stern official sneered
"No, as a rule I see no reason to defend rumors at all," Merlin replied.
"What of the demon, the Jade giantess! She is no rumor, she has been seen near your Garden, frolicing like a street strumpet, causing unplanned bachnallias.."
"A jade giantess has been seen near the area, her crimes include flirtation, and buying ale for a neighborhood. She also saved that neighborhood," Merlin replied, "I assure you, Justice Minister, I am aware of what she is, and she is no demon."
"So, even a wizard can be a fool.." The Justice Minister snorted, and turned in flurry, "Mark my words, this emerald succubus will be purged from this place, don't force me to smoke her out" 
Merlin watched him go.

Well, a less charitable view: Having successfully campaigned to have an object discovered by a 20th Century American demoted from planet-hood, he now wants to elevate a different object discovered by a 20/21st Century American into planet-hood.  And he, not coincidentally, is the discoverer of that latter object.

Governor Abbott is, as far as I can tell, a science-denying Right-wing nutjob conspiracy theorist jackass who sees himself as a possible heir to Donald Trump's followers. I believe the school district was not just right, but morally obligated to try to find a way to defy the order. I applaud them for doing so.

It bears an astonishing resemblance to a handbasket.

KFC has only one spice  - salt.  Those other spices that I referred to was when I am making something at home.  While there are quick service restaurants in the town that I live in,  I dislike all of them and only go to the restaurants that are owned locally,  if any at all.
