As great as this compressed skill is, I can see a problem here. Over time people will get injured regardless if it's through combat, natural activity, human interaction, or something else. While natural healing is powerful, it does need aid. I don't see anything upon the list that would work, unless it is (possibly) a subset of the either science or humanities skills. However, multiple subsets gets greatly complex. Let's handle this problem by making a generic medical skill.

Given the nature of how FTL works in B5, it would be interesting to see combatants ducking it out in hyperspace. Would damage, kills, etc be trapped there or return to conventional space? How about communicating? Is that even possible, or would there be effective silence outside the ship?

During an earlier edition, they attempted to make official spirit rules. These worked great, but players didn't get behind them. As a result, during the current edition, those rules have been officially done away with.

Here's a great suggestion: instead of having general, combat, penalty and other forms of skill level, just combine them into one. Then the player can decide at time of purchase what the skill level is to be used for. There are many more suggestions that I have that I can make with other posts.

I believe that WOTC has made many positive changes to the system. Opening character creation for more diversity, creating greater noncombat opportunities, streamlining combat are all positive in my opinion. However, since they are making it so that one can only get (and play) through their approved media might be such a strong negative that it could drive players toward other games (non-WOTC) effectively destroying their product.

Essentially, the speedster will hop into an alternate dimension where time passes faster, perform action, then return to normal reality. The basic principle here is that the alternate dimension is someplace where you (gm) gets to go back and totally recreate EVERYTHING! If suddenly fire powers work at 2x power (cold powers at 0.5x) then that will be the case. Can you imagine what will happen with those fireballs?
