  1. Farmers are almost imaginary in the high desert country of Mongolia. It is colder than Siberia.
  2. OK...why is it when I "quote" something...I...Don't.??? This was in reponse to the possible Kickstarter for GAC...-pinecone I have the same trouble.
  3. My favorite Marvel buddy was Mister "Tawky" Tawny the talking tiger.
  4. One of the things the Tommies disliked about hosting the Yanks was that they overpaid for things, driving prices up. Have you seen The Fires of War? http://www.herogames.com/forums/store/product/248-the-fires-of-war-the-algernon-files-volume-2-pdf/ There's only one hard copy of it left in the store here, though getting just the pdf would cut your cost. It is mostly serious, largely a collection of Golden Age heroes and enemies, 5th edition revised, focusing on WWII. They are mostly 4 SPEED. A great timeline is included, from 1935 to 1954, and includes much fiction and history, fantastic for adventure ideas.
  5. Wonder Woman got tied up more than others, but it wasn't "just thinly veiled bondage porn." It was thinly veiled bondage porn and more. From her inception, the Golden Age Wonder Woman showed more love and respect to others, including foes, than other superheroes did. Her identity was not based on someone else's - she was not primarily a girlfriend, a female version of a male hero, she did not obsess about marrying someone, etc. She had an island reformatory that really did reform villains, without the frontal lobotomies of Doc Savage's Crime College, or the revolving doors of other asylums and prisons. In her Diana Prince identity, she became a lieutenant in Army Intelligence. In both guises, she promoted female empowerment.
  6. I play a mentalist, and to his teammates, it often looks like he is not contributing to fights, since he likes to use Ego Attacks and Illusions.
  7. How about Mute Force? Or just define it further in the Powers/Tactics section of his character sheet. I would not give it a Limitation, given that He can easily use Mute Lifeforce (Hush) instead. It works on a wider variety of targets than its name suggests.
  8. Hmmm, now that you mention it, Phantasma, Mute Lifeforce (Eternal Silence) likely wouldn't work on most vehicles, constructs and gear, either, given that most of them have no Lifeforce to degrade.
  9. I respectfully disagree with Diamond Spear just above, given that our hero also has Mute Lifeforce (Hush): Blast raised 7d6 > 10d6; added Reduced Endurance (1/2); added Variable Limitation (No range or Increased Endurance Cost x2) The Penetrating KA works fine on walls, vehicles, gear and such, and can be used at various DC levels.
  10. This one costs points. I like the supernatural name.
