Wow. This is the last place I expected to see a reference to Jim Adler, the Texas Hammer. Man, I love that guy's commercials. Especially the ones in Spanish! Back on topic, the list on his website is missing "space coke" from Cheech and Chong's Next Movie.

I've seen the movie now and apparently Mexicans love Superman. So why is it that I can't stand him? Someone made a comment earlier that they didn't like Batman's nightmares. I thought the nightmare about an apocalyptic future where Superman had taken over the world was the best part. I wish the whole movie had been based around that concept. That would have been great. The movie as it is, however, was mediocre. I liked the overall story but the execution was disjointed. Case in point: The action is ramping up and Batman and Superman are about to fight. So let's watch Wonder Woman checking out videos of other superheroes on her laptop. That really killed the momentum of the movie at that point. (Not that I disliked that scene. I just think it should have come earlier.) And that was just one of many points in the movie where I would have rather been drinking a big ole glass of Granny's Peach Tea.

Okay, so I have little to no interest in watching this movie. I don't like superheroes in general and especially dislike Superman. Batman is sorta meh to me. I like him when he's animated or when he's in a Nolan film. (Yeah, I said it.) Therefore I thought I would never watch this movie. But a friend asked if I want to go see it with her and another one of our friends. So I'm going to go see it on Saturday!

I'm reminded of the videogame Bart shoplifted on an old episode of The Simpsons: Bonestorm.

My condolences to those who have lost loved ones. I always feel guilty about griping when other people have real problems but... I just lost twenty dollars at the store. It must have fallen out of my pocket when I pulled out my phone. That was the money I was going to use to buy my ticket to see BOC.
