Foxiekins
Just finished working up a recreation of a character image, based on the old champions character sheet outlines, but using CGI... Which wasn't available way back then, as it was the mid-to-late Eighties... The file is attached, if this works right... I'm curious if anyone can guess what his original power construct was... simplygnome
Re: What are his powers...? I cant help but see Triad, err...Triplicate Girl from the Legion. The costume looks very familiar.....His costume could split in three...Red, Green, and Black versions.... Meh, but thats all the creativity youre gonna get out of me when Im hungry and sleep deprived...
Vanguard00
Re: What are his powers...? I had thoughts of the old "3-D" man who, if I remember my history, was the theoretical progenitor of Triathalon of the not-too-long-ago Avengers. Either that or a Dr. Spectrum knock-off. Sociotard
Re: What are his powers...? The color scheme tells me this is Tinsel-Boy, who left the north pole to show the bad girls and boys the error of their ways. Okay, I actually have no idea. Supreme Serpent
Re: What are his powers...? Yep. I'd also go with either triplication or making 3-D light constructs.
lemming
Re: What are his powers...? I like the 3-D concept as well. Perhaps he can make 3-D objects out of pictures.
Red Knight
Re: What are his powers...? I'd have to say that it his powers are prismatically based.... Probably a Kalidascope type of effect. Maybe control of the entire EM spectrum.
fbdaury
Re: What are his powers...? The power to make people gouge out their own eyes after staring at his costume for too long?
Foxiekins
Three...? The triplicate stuff made me blink... His costume has *four* color tones in it, after all, not three...
gojira
Re: What are his powers...? Yes, definately Dr. Spectrum. Specifically, the super ability to generate TV test patterns, right? So basically a 50 points super with one really big, and annoying, PRE attack, if that damn buzz goes along with it.
Tenzil Kim
Re: What are his powers...? How about Red Light Green Light? He can freeze foes in their tracks or enhance their movement ability. Or Kaptain Kuwait! He would embody the spirit of the small but tenacious country of Kuwait.
McCoy
Re: What are his powers...? I'm seeing destructive energy blasts/RKA's from his right hand, defenses (missile deflection, force wall, possibly healing, all useable at range) from the left. Foxiekins
He he he he he... These are a blast to read... Kaptain Kuwait... Scary that something I came up with more than 20 years ago matches the flag of Kuwait that well, and I had no idea...
dbsousa
Re: What are his powers...? The pattern, if not the colors remind me of a hazard diamond, like you see on the back of some trucks... I am certain he has some chemical powers...
Vanguard00
Re: Three...? The triplicate stuff made me blink... His costume has *four* color tones in it' date=' after all, not three...[/quote'] Well, technically white is the absence of color, and black is all colors, so it really only has two. But I quibble. And digress. And drink.
Supreme Serpent
Re: Three...? The triplicate stuff made me blink... His costume has *four* color tones in it' date=' after all, not three...[/quote'] Completely one-color costumes are boring. Having four base allows him to split into a red/black, a green/black, and a white/black configuration, all three being different but tied together with the black. Beastial
Re: Three...? Well' date=' technically white is the absence of color, and black is all colors, so it really only has two.[/quote'] Inks vs lights. You're thinking ink on white paper. In terms of lights, all colors is white, and no color is black... you threw me there for a sec. I'm much more accustomed to thinking RGB than CMYK.
