Everything on that album has exceedingly simple melodic progression and rhythm, and the vocals are subtle and subdued. I happen to like the understated sort of keyboard backgrounds they use, and with those two guys the whole point, of course, is the guitar playing. Paton played bass through "Stereotomy", and Bairnson has been on every APP album, and most of the Alan Parsons followup albums. And for Lord Mhoram, David Paton performed on Fish's "Internal Exile".
