Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now?

Daniel Radcliffe sings, and attempts to maintain an American accent, in a 2011 revival of How to Succeed in Business (Without Really Trying).

(I'm not sure the show itself ages that well. The corporate world has mutated beyond recognition since 1962. They days when you can run a huge multinational conglomerate and have no idea what your company sells are long gone.)

Ce Soir by Golden Earring from their greatest hits compilation, The Continuing Saga of Radar Love. One of the great betrayal songs; I have no idea how many Shadowrun adventures were spawned off this song, but it could well be numbered in the dozens.

Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now?

Inspired by a post in Funny Pics, I found this gem on Youtube: a trumpet duet of two of jazz's greatest legends -- Louis Armstrong and Dizzy Gillespie.

As trumpeters the two men had a lot in common. Both were flamboyant, both had amazing purity and clarity in their tone, and both were imaginative and creative in their interpretation. Armstrong's willingness and ability to double as a singer despite his non-traditional rough-edged singing voice would influence the future of popular music forever afterwards -- it's hard, for example, to imagine Bob Dylan not being able to record his songs in his own voice because producers would have insisted on someone with a "cleaner" tone.
