Lord Liaden Posted April 7, 2023 Report Share Posted April 7, 2023 That fight footage was modified for Aragorn's one-on-one with the troll during that battle. Peter Jackson wanted a scene to demonstrate Aragorn's badassery, but decided against inventing an encounter with an incarnated Sauron as it didn't match the book nor the rest of the movie.
