Hermit
I think I was worried about the wrong guy... because Nale just had a crowning moment of badassery http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0906.html
Trencher
Did I miss something or do we not know what the Priest of Nergal did when Nale was nine years old?
Lawnmower Boy
No, we don't know what Malack did to upset Nale. On the other hand, we have from-his-own-mouth confirmation that Nale killed Malack's children. And on another note, I was beginning to feel like the climax of this story arc would never come, that everyone would just wander off to the next gate in status quo. Now... And yes I agree with your analysis.
Hermit
Exactly how Nale's dad will react to this should be fascinating to watch. Tarquin (Sp?) might be very proud, very ticked, or both. Frankly, while I cheer for the heroes, there's no denying the villains have stolen the show more than once.
Lucius
Stealing things is to be expected from villains. Lucius Alexander The palindromedary buys Sleight of Hand Skill, Limited to Steal Shows Only

Christopher
And he already lost Tog. Plus he hasn't had a healer/divine sorcerer since the Druid was beaten. Even when Sabine pops up again, his team is currently not a real threat.

Christopher
This army is going to have trouble finding shade there anywhere. I wonder why Tarquin even brought them? He should know an army is pretty much useless against high level adventruerers. Much less Epic Level Lichs. Especially not inside a building with Traps. Even if he expected to fight Xykon and his army soon, he should know that throwing more bodies at them will only give his Undead more people to turn. Trencher
I am glad that Durkon have managed to hold on to his Dwarfality, when Malak got introduced I was afraid of him returning posthumously to his home meant he would go there with Malak and kill them all. Lucius
I am glad that Durkon have managed to hold on to his Dwarfality' date=' when Malak got introduced I was afraid of him returning posthumously to his home meant he would go there with Malak and kill them all.[/quote'] It probably means he will go there without Malak and kill them all. I don't think Mr. Burlew has ever had the story outright contradict a prophecy and it is foretold that Durkon's return would bring disaster. Lucius Alexander The palindromedary says that Durkon might be restored to life and, having been dead, his return would still be "posthumous" and he might bring some other less obvious disaster than being a vampire and killing lots of Dwarves.
