Re: The Ultimate WWYCD: Ninja or Pirate!

Plex A pirate with a flare for the dramatic and well dressed. He'd be like Errol Flynn or Captain Jack Sparrow. Probably more of the romantic swashbuckler/pirate. He'd love swinging from shandiliers, sweeping women off their feet, and talking like a pirate on occassion. (Though he would have more fun running around and talking in 15th century language.) Once he got bored with it, though, he would be ready to get back to normal and try to set things back to their proper setting.

Quantum Kitsune: Pirate. While she can' date=' in fact, turn invisible, she's far too flashy, showy, and attention-hogging to be a sneaky by habit (rather than by necessity).[/quote']

I see you've never watched Naruto. He's a ninja in a bright orange jumpsuit who shouts all the time.

As for my characters

Riptide is obviously going to be a pirate.

T.N. Lung will be a ninja. (Did I mention that T.N. Lung looks like a Gorn and is a brick?)

The Wizard of Oz Incorporated will be a pirate. Although he prefers to be called a "privateer" matey.

Hellfire would be a ninja.

Phidippus:

Martial arts? Check. Sneaky? Check. Agile and acrobatic? Big check.

The obvious choice would seem to be ninja, but his personality is just so much more ostentatious and swashbuckle-y (at least when his teammate, Ashley isn't being a jerk and putting his foot in his mouth, forcing Phidippus to play daddy - which hasn't happened very often so far)...

Hmmm. Pirate cunningly disguised as a ninja?

"Ha-ha! You thought wrong, daimyo! The man you thought would commit seppuku in dishonor will instead swing on your fancy curtains, whilst hollering insulting limericks at your no-fun guards and wooing your comely daughter!"

SLAP!

"Okay, okay - swing on fancy curtains and holler limericks."
