You didn't want to see his giant radioactive dragon junk' date=' did you?[/quote']

It's the implication that he had giant radioactive dragon junk in the first place! If they'd just drawn him "Ken doll" style like most giant monsters, no one would have batted an eye. The fact that they gave him tighty whities made people think about what he might be hiding in there, and thus we get the whole nasty "giant radioactive dragon junk" thing! :nonp:;)

Read Next Wave for the truth about Fin Fang Foom.

He IS that Ken Doll.

Re: What was Marvel's WORST decade?

Marvel hasn't been good for much of the last 15+ years. Basically, from the Clone Saga forward. They come up with something good from time to time(or maybe I should say, they let Kurt Busiek write some good stories from time to time) but I haven't consistently collected any Marvel title in a decade, which is sad because that's what I grew up on. I grew up on classic Avengers stories, Capt. America, Iron Man, Thor, Spiderman, and Dr. Strange. I picked up a DC book now and then, but the comics that meant the most to me were always Marvel books. Now, I spend a lot of time in comic stores but basically ignore the new comic racks. I'd rather buy 3 old ones than one new one, especially when the old ones take longer to read and have both more story and better stories.

For me, the 90's. But then, I haven't picked up a marvel comic (or any super-hero comic) since the 90's, so it could be this one. In fact, some of the happenings I've heard people mention in this decade make the think I'm probably blessed to have stopped reading when I did.

I get the same feeling myself.

90's followed by this decade. I mean c'mon they killed the Cap for crying out loud, then gave it to Bucky and with a gun even? Spider man made a deal with Mephisto? The Fact that Spider man actually gave up his secret I.D. in Civil War is just BS. He was always smart enough not to do such a thing (Aunt May anyone). The whole Civil War series is just B.S. its amazing what passes for hire at marvel it seems.

It's been crappier ever since...
